Requesting help for Shadow Assassin

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I'm not sure where on these forums I'm supposed to be posting for help with a Shadow Assassin as it's a 3rd party source, but the two threads dedicated to it are for discussing the class and it's mechanics, and not really for helping someone build one.

Due to the nature of this, I guess you'll only be able to help if you have purchased the class. It looks really fun and is cheap so guy buy it anyway if you already haven't.

I'm starting a level 1 Tengu Shadow Assassin in an Eberron setting (30 point buy o.O) and I'd like to focus on the exotic weapon of Double Swords (proficient due to Tengu Sword Training) and hopefully rock socks with that. My Pathfinder playing experience so far has been a level 3 Fighter/Wizard and a level 3-10 straight up sword-n-board fighter, so I am perhaps rather limited with knowing how to do all this.

My ability points, after racial modifiers (+2dex/wis, -2con), are thus:
Str: 16
Dex: 16
Con: 10
Int: 14
Wis: 18
Con: 8

Other info.
Feat:
Two-Weapon Fighting

Traits:
Dirty-Fighting
Poverty-Stricken

Now, I'm fairly happy with my traits and feat selection and I have a fair idea what I want to do with my Shadow Talents and Shadow Styles (First one I get turns an exotic weapon into Light, so it works with all the good Shadow Assassin stuff), but it's the ability points I'm struggling internally with and it's time I outsourced help.

Now, the Shadow Assassin's special shadowey assassinish voodoo is all based on Wis, so I have put a large number of points into there but I feel that in the end that might not actually be worth it. I'd appreciate some input from anyone experienced with the class, especially with concern to Deadly Focus. It FEELS worth it for a 16 point buy + race bonus, but perhaps it's a trap.

I have 16 Str and would boot it each level I think so I can continue to contribute in battle like an assassin should, but I feel it would be better served by being higher. An assassin should hit lots and hit hard, right? Buying a natural 18 points is expensive, though, so it's a risk. Again, not sure.

Dex is highly interesting here. The Shadow Assassin gains massive boots to almost all dex-based skills (including stealth) so it almost feels like they are allowing Shadow Assassins to get by with a rather minimal dex, but that seems alien and odd to me. Especially since I'm going the Double Sword for the cool factor. I think 16 is a happy place to leave it.

I really wanted at least SOME int for skill points. Maybe 14 is too much, but it can come in handy as I would be the closest to a Rogue the party has

Con is where I start to get scared. My last character I built very specifically to be a survivor. Fighter with 18 Con at level 3, 124HP at level 10 and 29 AC - still got smacked to negatives in 3 successive hits. 10 Con understandably scares me, but I can't decide where I should harvest points from to get a 12 or 14. I shouldn't be getting hit often, but I will and when it happens I will hurt.
(I should note that the fighter is still alive, just that the DM wanted a break so we're starting a new campaign)

Charisma - I'm happy to dump. I'm playing a freaking bird who kills people for a church. Eloquence not needed. HOWEVER; The DM has said that no ability is to be below 8, so this Cha pretty much set in stone.

So, after all that exposition, I would really appreciate any input you might have. I really have no idea what I'm doing with this and if I'm ashamedly honest, I've never attacked with more than one weapon before so I'm quite over my head. I would especially like your thoughts on the str/dex issue and if you think the exotic Double Swords would be too much of a pain.

Thanks in advance,
Propane.

Anyone at all? =(

I don't own the book (yet), 'cause I can't find a game that I can play in, but I'm more fluff-oriented than crunch, so any particular workings I can't mathematically work for you.. I build off of the story and try to fit it in the rules.
