Gary: post in my Top 32 item thread - have I made a booboo?

I posted in the thread for my item without thinking, assuming that the rule for not posting about items was for items in the current, second, round. I'm at work and it was too late to edit it. Would you mind editing/ checking/ deleting/ leaving it alone if it's all okay?

I'm really sorry and hope my nerves and excitement haven't messed up my chances.

You can comment in your own item if the voting for that round is closed. Round 1 voting is closed (the judges did the voting in R1), so feel free to comment on any of the Top 32 items, including your own. :)

I'm pretty sure you're allowed to comment on past rounds to your heart's content. The "no comment" rule is about rounds that are open for voting, so you don't attempt to influence the upcoming vote. The voting for the Top 32 already happened.

I almost had a change-of-trousers moment at work when someone tipped me off that I'd maybe commented too much in my item thread. Thanks for the official word - I've almost got my breath back now :-)
