Hey all have a Serious question this time.

Rules Questions

Scarab Sages

Pathfinder tonight be and my GM had a question for you. The Travel Domain at 8th level you get a power that allows you to teleport 10ft/lvl.
in 5ft increments.

My question is can you teleport more then once a day as long as you have increment left to do so?

Scarab Sages

Another Question

Luck Domain Bit of Luck can I use that on myself?

Scarab Sages

Magic circle against Evil, Demons wear attacking and I beat their SR.
they can't get within 10ft as per what the spell says right?

Scarab Sages

We had a member get trapped in a tunnel between two demons he was a medium creature, and they were large creatures The GM insisted that he had to role a tumble check to get pass them, But all the player wanted to do is get back to the party. So he was going to walk pass them and take the attacks of opportunity.

Was the GM right did he have to roll to get out? or was the player right could he just walk by them taking a chance of getting attacked?

It doesn't outright say so, but I take it as implied (just from the wording over 5' increments) that you can teleport more than once a day using the power. Hence as an 8th level cleric I'd say you could make once 80' teleport, or two at 40', or whatever other combination up to a total of 80'. I'm not 100% certain that's how it works, but it's what I'd rule.

I can't see any reason why not. The only requirement is to touch a willing creature and your cleric certainly matches that criteria!

Am I understanding correctly that the layout is like I've messily arranged below? With the large M being a demon, the little m being the pc and the lines marking the tunnel? In that case then the GM is right, you can't move through the enemies spaces without tumbling even if you're happy to eat the attack of opportunity. There'd need to be squares between the demons and the tunnel walls to have a chance to just walk around.

Scarab Sages

So there is no way out, The Tumble DC was like 36, and he could make it even if he maxed his role out.

Scarab Sages

have a question if someone cast Detect thoughts spell.

first round you get present or absences of minds.
second round you get their Int scores.
third round they make a will save.

during this whole process do they know that someone tried to read their minds?

Second if I have the spell up that keeps evil creatures out
Magic circle against evil they can't enter the circle right?

second Evil creatures with SR I have to roll my level + a d20 and if I beat their SR they can't enter right?

Mike, I think you'll get better results if you repost this.

On topic: I think I would houserule it to allow it. Of course, the demons can try to grapple the person walking as an AoO instead of just damaging them.

If they don't grapple and you fail the Tumble then you eat an AoO. You can continue your move though. Unless they also have Stand Still, that is...
