I'd be very interested in joining up. I'd most likely want to play either a rogue or a bard. I can come up with specifics within the next hour.
EDIT: My decision for class really rides on what kind of makeup the party already has.
EDIT 2: I'm leaning towards a halfling bard, basically a busker who grew up very poor. Although he did at one point in his life have to beg and perform on corners for money to keep his mouth fed, he tends to over dramatize his childhood and especially his current state.
He in fact is moderately well off, he just likes the lifestyle. He gets very defensive when people criticize his choices, but is otherwise extremely pleasant to be around. He makes only a small portion of his income as a busker; the majority comes from odd jobs that he picks up both from the Pathfinder Society and from individuals.
If this sounds like it might work, let me know and I'll develop it more. I'm really eager to get into a PbP game and am willing to adjust the concept if you think it might clash with the rest of the party.

You can read up to where we are at the PBP thread, called aptly enough Unnamed Investigation 168. We currently have a bard, a cleric (who is leading the group and a fine job at that), and a monk/fighter, but a rogue or full time caster would be appreciated.
As to a Chelaxian conjurer, anyone with an evil alignment will find it very difficult in this campaign, and strong political ties will make things interesting. If you read up on the campaign a little, you might see why.

I could pretty easily tweak my character concept to be a rogue with ranks in a perform skill or two. That or junk it and start up a caster concept. I don't want to steal Davi's spot out from under him, so I'd prefer to stick with the same idea as a rogue.
Just in case, though, my first idea for a full caster would be something along the lines of a chaotic good Taldoran human elemental (air) sorcerer, his powers began to manifest after he was struck by lightning from a magical storm while he was 9 years old. He is the son of a noble and was a very bright kid before being struck, but after the event his personality immediately changed. He went from being very active, intelligent, and diligent in his studies, to being distant, illogical, and whimsical. He was and remains immensely curious in the world around him, but where before he studied diligently in libraries, now he learns through experience and trial-and-error.
As the son of a noble, his strange ways were embarrassing to his father, and within a few months he was sent to a boarding school where he lived most of the rest of his childhood. He now travels the world, taking jobs when they suit his fancy but more often than not requesting funds from his father to live on. He prefers working with the Pathfinder Society because they will often pay for his travel. His curiosity is part of what would keep him involved in this campaign. Curiosity, and the possibility of forming long-lasting friendships, which have been difficult to maintain since the incident.

Don't worry, I'm not planning on being evil, more of a true neutral with lawful tendencies. As for any issues from me being Chelaxian, I assume they are the "at least one PC and several NPCs won't trust me for being a diabolist" kind of issues and not the "Cheliax is secretly trying to conquer the world" kind of issues.

Excellent, wait for my sign to start posting in the main PBP. Thanks so much. I'll post here as well as in character (NPC). :P
Oh, sorry folks. Character creation rules HERE.
I'd found that thread and made my character according to the guideline there; if anything changed let me know.

Let's see, since there really aren't any regional traits for Chelaxians around, how does this sound for one?
See Through The Devil's Lies
You have spent much of your time dealing with diabolists, and you have learned to see the truths behind others' lies.
You gain a +1 trait bonus to Sense Motive, and Sense Motive is always a class skill to you.

That's fine.

That's fine.
Well, since it turns out that there's a trait in the Pathfinder Society guide that basically does that, mind if I just switch to that one? (Fiendish Presence, your family dealt with devils often in your youth, you gain +1 to Sense Motive and Diplomacy, and one of those skills is always a class skill.)

That'll work too. :)

Very soon now! Hopefully by the end of the day if everything goes well. Maybe in a few hours or minutes even. :) I'll post here when your characters are introduced! :P
EDIT: Actually, you two can begin now, if you like... Just to get into the swing of things. Some stipulations: This campaign assumes you are on friendly terms with the Pathfinder Society and are either interested in becoming members, or are already members. You've been summoned (separately) to a conference chamber off the main room.

She will definitely be interesting to play with. While she and Dird have similar views towards mysteries (that they are fun to solve) I think
I'm glad to have a character like Komana in the group for a couple reasons. For meta-game reasons, it's always nice who really has a strong motivation to solve mysteries to help the game keep moving along.
I'm looking forward to watching her try to unravel Dird's vagrant ways. I definitely think Dird will enjoy watching her try as well. His habit of passing himself off as a misfortunate tramp will (hopefully) keep her guessing.
