Hey folks. While I love the localized area of the inner sea.
It's sometimes exhausting to have all the references to other continents and not haveing a full world map.
Like Eberron we got a full world map with the first book....now we may not have learned everything about them, but we got a full world map.
I understand that they may not be fully developed. But it seems to be enough material for this world to hammer out a map.
Has the official WHOLE world map been published anywhere. Can we get a WHOLE world map?
Can the Editor in Chief direct a little old DM such as myself to the compass rose?
Or at least an idea of when one might be available.

From the other forums on the board, it sounds like much of the world is only briefly outlined at Paizo, let alone being detailed enough for a world map.
And a lot of the world sounds unexplored, so.....

No world map yet. I guess it's not a priority. Their resources are limited, so they do the stuff they need to do to promote the setting and their products first.
And while it would be nice to have a world map, it would either be hazy (with lots of white spaces and "HERE BE DRAGONS") or it would force them to commit to things that might be very inconvenient in the future, when they're ready to really flesh out those parts of this world.
And Paizo's doesn't usually just throw out half-baked stuff.

Can't be much longer than that, Mayan prophesies being what they are and all.

No deadline. It'll happen when it can and when it needs to.

James, Mark its been over a decade. Is there any chance of us getting a full fledged world map? Alot of the cities mentioned in the wiki from various books dont even a location on the map. Even stuff in southern Garund and western Casmaron let alone Arcadia or Tian Xai. I get how folks that visit Sarusan would forget that they made maps.. but the rest of the world.. alot is known to the pathfinder society as a whole.
Love what you all have been doing. :) Hope this necromancy works for an answer.

Here's the closest thing that's out.
Also, here's a community created Golarion geography website, with links to interactive maps on the left.
Paizo (sadly) still doesn't produce Golarion-globe beach balls. ;)
Maybe that helps you and someone out there. (So that something good comes from resurrecting an 11 year old thread.)
[edit: This seems to be the most recent thread for Golarion mapping ]

Core Rulebook, page 418.
If you're asking for a map of the world with as much detail as we put into the Inner Sea map and the Tian-Xia map, though, we're still many years away from that. We'll continue to fill in the blank spots on the world map incrementally as we go forward, but it's creatively irresponsible to simply make up thousands of names and drop them in haphazardly onto the world map without actually spending the time and research needed to make sure we do those other parts of Golarion justice.
Sarusan will be the last place we develop though, and I kinda want it to be a place we NEVER develop, and look to including Australia-inspired content elsewhere, such as south Arcadia or south Garund or the like.

James, I know Luis has been working on some of the Arcadia modules (for his own end of things). Will we finally get some fleshed out maps for Arcadia since now it has been included in the Adventure Paths? Also, how about the Azlanti continent isles? It would be good to see the map now that the colony from Andoran is there as well as the original one with the crazy sun cult

It's better to ask "Will you do..." than "Will we get..."
That said, we're going to continue to explore other parts of the world, but developing brand new continents is a big job and not something we can do just at the drop of a hat. It's something we'd have to start years in advance of announcing it.
It's best to say: "I'd love to see..." or "It would be cool if..." when asking these types of question. Let us know what you'd love for us to do, rather than trying to ask about things we aren't yet ready to announce.

I’m dying to get Arcadia. It’s the most exciting project I can imagine you doing.
I"m sure you've heard that we'll be doing some Arcadia scenarios for Pathfinder Society organized play soon. Those'll be the next places we explore Arcadia, but they assuredly won't be the last times we go there, seeing as how several of us (particularly Luis Loza and Adam Daigle, but myself as well) are very eager to explore here when the chance arises.
There's some other things before we can get deep into Arcadia though that we're still working on to expand the map and explore new places that we've not done much with before... starting with Ruby Phoenix, but beyond that some other things that we'll be announcing soon.
(I for one am pretty much stuck in the past for the forseeable future with the Kingmaker project, but that won't slow down the other folks from exploring other parts of the setting!)
