I hope you can stick around. Things are getting interesting.
It's in Wolfgang's hands. I may have to wait a while before I hear one way or another about it.
Thank you and Urizen for your help. I really appreciate it!

No worries. If you are gonna write more I highly reccommend picking up a copy of Strunk&White's: The Elements of Style or just read the website that link hooks to.
Fun random fact: That's the same E.B. White that wrote Charlotte's Web

I'd be curious to see how it turns out so I can figure how much you changed back when you saw my edits. "That boy whacked way too much he sure did!" ;)

I can send you the copy I fired off to Wolfgang. :)
Of course, assuming they accept the article, it will get edited even more I'm sure.

Cool. I had a copy of that once upon a time.

:D
We're starting our 4th Doctor tomorrow night in our homebrew Dr. Who setting. The new Doc is my WIFE!! So excited for a female Doctor, had to be uber-geek for a minute and talk about it.
Even my PF group doesn't get it.

Wow Mac... Peter Davidson is my favourite Doc as well! Don't tell me Pat Troughton was your second fav, 'cause that would start to get freaky! ;)
I liked Tennant, but he sits at number 4 for me (after PD, PT and Christopher Eccleston)
On a related note: I bought and watched Destiny of the Daleks the other day for the very first time! I have no idea how, but I missed a chunk of Tom Baker stuff when it was on TV out here originally (I missed Key to Time and the start of Lalla's Romana) and when they re-screened every Who story for the 40th Anniversary, they left out all but 2 Dalek stories due to copyright issues.

1) David Tennant (because thats the one my wife liked and she SET time aside to watch the show with me)
2) Peter Davidson my dad has/had all of his episodes on tape and we watched them when I was YOUNG.3) Christopher Eccleson (see Tennant's explanation)
4) Patrick Troughton is my 4th recently. I've only seen a couple of his episodes, but I REALLY want to see more.

I love that show. It's too bad so many people seem to be avoiding it due to the bad taste that the finale of BSG left in their mouth...
Zoe topless holding a biten apple was my laptop wallpaper until we went to visit my woman's family and given the young children, I had to switch it over to something neo-Giger inspired that lacked alien phalluses. :P

I couldn't get into BSG. I tried, but it didn't catch me. Was it good?

I didn't mind the BSG finale...
So far I've still only seen the Pilot for Caprica. I have the first 3 eps after that but I haven't gotten around to watching them yet. I am keen to, but they're not something I want to watch at work as I want to be able to concentrate on them and not just have them on in the background while I'm doing my paperwork at 5am...

Where did it go? banished to the nether regions?

I loved it. Dark and Gritty and Dystopian and injected a lot of today's societal issues into the mix. The way I like my Sci-Fi.

Yes, mostly, but the finale was horrific. If you didn't get hooked by the first episode of the first season (the one where the cylons keep arriving every 90 minutes or so), then the show probably wasn't for you. That episode exemplified a lot of what made the show work, so if it didn't connect, I'm not sure if the rest would either.
The big flaw is that the show clearly suffered from "we'll make this s#*! up as we go along" syndrome, so a lot of the early teases were not paid off very well in the end. Plus, there was an abrupt tonal shift where the cylons went from "pure uncompromising evil" to "like us, but with circuits!"

I wish it had more of that through the run. I loved the last season because everything was falling apart. The first season also had some more grit to it.
I know I'm being anal, but I really would've liked it better if they'd spent more time focusing on the miserable living conditions. It always annoyed me that they seemed to have a limitless supply of booze and even food (despite the fact they had been living on algae for multiple years).
I also wish they'd done more with the other ships in the fleet and given them some personality. I understand that it would've been expensive to do that given the set costs, but still, it would've been nice.
