Are you saying someone did or someone should?

Bolded it for you for emphasis.

Hello CJ, Urizen, Taig, and everyone else. :)

I love grocery shopping! They were having a 50% off sale on the sirlion tip roasts, I bought 4 and had them grind them. Heck of a lot cheaper then buying ground beef at 4$ a lb!
Also grabbed a bunch of fruit tht was on sale and made fruit salad for lunch. :)

You?

Ground?
Them?

but but but.....

Sirlion.

lol, and it makes the best ground beef. All lean and full of flavor. We eat a lot of ground beef for dinners, i.e. Sketti, hamburger helper, burgers, meatloafs. I am thinking of going and getting one more and just keep the roast.

Spoiler:

Somebody should.

I like adding some hot & spicy sausage into the mix, myself...

Yes it is.

It was Food Lion. Not sure if you have them there but I know North Carolina and Virginia has them.

I had not thought of that. Maybe the next time our store has a roast sale I'll see if they will do it.

Definitely not out in my neck of the woods...

We have Kroger's, Meijer's, Giant Eagle, and Walmart. Going down to Cincy, there's Bigg's.

Well they also had their bags of chicken tenders (boneless skinless) buy one get one, and pork chops were also buy one get one, so I grabbed some of them too. :)

Any grocery store with a deli ought to be able to do it for you. I have learned how to shop cheap. It also works with London Broil and chuck roasts. :)

Store brand. Although if you have a Bi Lo than they almost always have a buy one get one on their meats.

Last weekend a store down in St. George (about 50 miles away) was having a buy one get one free roast sale. Sadly I did not make it down there.

Heh, Giant Eagle. Now thats a store I hadn't thought of in a while. They have em back in PA where I am from. My cousins first job was at a Giant Eagle.

I prefer the Man Who Knew Too Lttle with Bill Murray, hilarious sendup of the spy genre.

One of my favourite movies. I piss myself laughing every time I watch it (yes I do own it on DVD). :D

I got a 3 lb roast for like 6 bucks. It works out quite nicely. And its always nice and lean.

Ok...well, then I just suggest keeping an eye on the papers they send out. :)

You sure? I pretty much detest the taste of practically all beers and lagers. I'd hate to think I wasted my money if I turn my nose on the first sip. *shrug* But I can drink Bacardi 151 without thinking. Well ... maybe not as tolerant as I was prior two years ago, but still.
Yeah, I hate most beer too, but even I like a good chocolate stout. It's a totally different flavor, more akin to coffee than beer.

I can't drink beer, it makes me ill (I abhor the taste). But then I don't like coffee either so apparently I'm strange...

I'm in the big city, as far as the small ones go, I don't ask the farmers and they don't tell.

Have you ever noticed that irrational statements get more attention then rational ones?

As was I. I think it is why "Shock Jocks" on radio gained a lot of promenance back in the 80-90's but if you noticed most of them have gone away. For somethign to actually last I feel it requires some substance to it. Of course Howard Stern still has a show so maybe I am wrong.

I have to run yet again. I have to take the trash off and the boy to the docs. Time to make sure he is gaining weight and doing well with the meds.
Be back in a bit. :)

Are you working tonight?

I finish work at 11am today(!) and at this stage I don't have anything else to do so I should be home by 12 if you want to Skype. S'OK if you don't though.

OK I'll see if you're available then.

Later all, I started work 5 minutes ago (so with the 20 minute drive that's a nice hefty late time...)
