Howdy. My cold is still hanging on, but just a minor annoyance. Anxious about getting my head shrunk Tuesday. Otherwise, ok. :)
I do hope that you feel better.

Thanks. Hope Sebastians's tenticles didn't rough you up too much. :)

Always anxious before a shrink visit. Hopefully a different prescription that'll work better. Also the persistent nagging doubt that I'll get Baker Act'ed. :)

Hey do any of you know anything about World of Warcraft?

The badger has fooled everyone. <shakes fist> EVERYONE! He exits stage left just so people don't catch on. His timing is so impeccable that he knows how to pull out at just the right time. How do you think he can afford to be generous? He gets around. :P

EDIT: He's the poster boy of Catholic Family Planning. Onanism all the way.

Oh, my. The things I miss when I'm away for a few hours...

Time to play catch up.

Sharoth, History reading is fun. Of course, intellectuals aren't supposed to admit loving Durant and Churchill, but screw those guys.

I bought Barbara Mertz's two Egyptian books from Daedalus last night.

Thanks, Ambrosia.

To myself: I want a NAP.

How good are Barbara Mertz's boobs?
FIFY.

Old.

Nope. Made my Save against it and Evercrack and never got started.

Yeah, I'm not planning on playing it. I was looking over their WoWwiki and I have come across some stuff I'd like to use in my game.

Taig: Sorry your cold and depression are tag-teaming you. Hope you are feeling better and work gets sorted out for you. Fingers crossed for you on the SupaStah too.

Aberzombie: Hope your cold gets better soon too.

Mairkurion: Hope your teeth are feeling better.

Flash: Hope you get some rest.

Hello to the rest of the FaWTLies too. :)

Thanks, Amby! My fingers are crossed for you too. :)

I hope you are doing well.

Never played the game either, but I do own five or six dead tree versions of the 3.x RPG.

So do I, okay not as many but I do own it. My problem is that he stuff I want to use is from after they stopped making the Pen and Paper version.

Can't help you there. I'm probably the only guy in my gaming group that has never played WoW or DDO.

And on that note, it's time for me to take off to an evening game. My halfling rogue is going to run amok in Absolom. Thank goodness the DM only lives a couple of miles away.

I'm not holding out hope for SupaStah. Your item was much more evocative & unique, and whatever David's done will trounce mine too. I didn't expect to make Top 32; I did it for the same reason as NaNoWriMo.

They have a number of Warcraft novels published. Ever consider reading them for source material?

Thanks, Ambrosia! I liked your item, too. It's quite fun.

I'll have to see David's item on the 19th, either after he's been selected for the top 32, or otherwise.

This is the third year I've entered the contest. I think I keep improving on each try. :)

I have, but the only bookstore I have regular access to is Walmart. They don't carry very many Warcraft novels there.

If you have the time (and haven't already), you should enter the current Open Call too.

Have you checked Amazon for books? They sell used books at varying prices. So, you might find something worthwhile at a decent price.

I keep thinking about getting the Warcraft novels but always end up putting it off. Maybe some day.

I made one attempt and got some feedback from Josh. I plan to work on some writing this weekend, so I might put together an Open Call query.

Have you submitted anything?

Man, my life sucks. :)

After missing work today for a scheduled doctor's appointment, they decided to bring me back in for a dietician to go over "carb counting" with me and reset my numbers. They tried counting carbs once before with me and I quit after nearly going into a low blood sugar coma in back to back nights.

So after getting Friday off, I will get at least Monday morning if not all day off. Man, that sucks.

You know the RPG Superstar competition Paizo's had for the past three or so years? The one that's going to be officially started in a few weeks, and all submissions for the first round were due a few days/weeks ago? That.

Also, I just realized I started lurking here around the third or forth round of the first Superstar competition. Where has the time gone?

EDIT: Oh. Talking about something different. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to reminisce some more.

I started lurking just before the first Superstar competition, for which I submitted a "spell in a can" with a little bit of flavor.

No, haven't thought of anything good enough or "meaty" enough for one yet.

He is already. He screams and cries whenever he can't have what he wants. Like when he wants to stay up late without having had a nap.

Man did he wail last night when my mom put him down.

You guys aren't the kind of things I like to wrap up in my vines, so don't worry. And as far as assassination goes, I take aim at unwarranted pretension. As if Taig doesn't encourage me to.
