Greetings Fearless Paizo Staff,
I have several items I have added on to my December monthly shipment. The question I pose to you is this. Many of the items added to my order are holiday gifts. Will they be shipping before the holidays?

Hey Aaron:
That is a really good question. We will HOPEFULLY have the whole December shipment in the warehouse by late next week, which means that the sub shipment will probably ship out the next week, making it very tight for Christmas but not impossible. However, we don't really know about timing until all the product arrives in the warehouse. Just a couple of days delay could make the difference between making Christmas or not. So if you have to have it by Christmas, I would say that you should ship any presents separately so you aren't disappointed. We do our best to get everything out to folks at Christmas (packing to midnight for a whole week, I am looking at you!), but there is just no way to guarantee since the books aren't here yet and their arrival is out of our hands. I hope this helps!

The December releases will most likely ship before the holidays. However, when the package ships out and when it will reach you are two different times. I also cannot guarantee that the package will ship out before the holidays.
Furthermore, keep in mind that our only guaranteed shipping methods are the expedited UPS Shipping methods, 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air. A package shipping out right this second, via any method other than those two, will probably arrive before the holidays, but not necessarily. That being said, your best bet is (and always will be) to get your packages shipped out as soon as possible.
For you, and the items in your sidecart, if you really want to maximize the possibility that you get these items before the holidays, then you should take advantage of the "Ship it Now" button on your side cart on your My Account page.

One last thing....
I am having difficulty ascertaining how to remove items from my sidecart and recombine them into a single shipment, sans AP, of course. Is this as simple as temporarily checking the "never hold anything" button on my subscriptions page, or is this something customer service has to do once the orders have all been combined as I have?

Just to let everyone know (I'll have Vic put this in an email to all subscribers next week), but the subscription shipment for this month looks like it won't be going out until the week before Christmas this year. So if you have items that you need for Christmas in your carts, you should get those shipped separately. Sorry about that, but shipping times from the printer get a little unpredictable this time of year with the holidays and our shipment got delayed by a week.
