Helf-Celestial Ability bonuses with Human, Half-Elf, and Half-Orcs?

Rules Questions

The Exchange

I was going through the Pathfinder Bestiary earlier today, when I came across the Half-Celestial entry. Now after I read it, the entry spurred a question: Does the Half-Celestial ability bonus stack with the ability bonuses of being a Human, Half-Elf, or Half-Orc, or would the Half-Celestial ability bonus replace the one you get from the base classes, as it says: "A half-celestial creature retains the base creature's statistics and special abilities except as noted Here."?

Anyway, if anyone could chime in on this, it would be appreciated.

Thanks.

The half-celestial template applies to the base creature, thus modifying the already present base race abilities. There is no difference to add half-celestial ability bonuses to a dwarf or to a human.

The half celestial is a template that is ADDED to another race, such as a dwarf or a human. As a result the stats STACK with whatever bonuses the dwarf or human would have.

This is why the half field minotaur has a str of 23 while a regular minotaur has a str of 19. The +8 str for a minotuar (with a base of 11) is added to the +4 str from Half fiend.

So a half celestial Dwarf has a +2 to wisdom, +2 con, and -2 Charisma. And then 4 is added to 3 stats and 2 is added to the other 3 stats.
