Dragon 295 PDF problems

I am not able to open this PDF, and this is with using 3 different unzip utilities. 2 of which are recommended by PCWorld. One of which is Zip Reader. It may be due to Win 7 issues, but I do not know.

Any suggestions?

To be better help, I'll need a fuller definition of "not able to open", including a description of any error messages and at what step in the process you are encountering them. However, I can give some general advice.

I just downloaded, unzipped, and opened the PDF from your account, so I can verify that the file itself is ok. My primary suspicion here is that your decompression utility is not allowing the archive (i.e. the .zip file) to create subfolders. The fix for this is to find this option in whatever decompression utility and make sure that it is allowed. I go into more detail on this fix here.

The other thing to do is also make sure that you are using a fully updated PDF reader.

If you are still having issues after these steps, please let me know.

Thanks,

The problem seems to be that even though I do download a file, it doesn't even show up in my downloads folder. ITs a ghost. I see it DL, its listed as a DL, but when I go to look at it in my actual DL folder, it isn't there. So I cannot even select it for extraction.

OK, I DLed it again, this time just saving it. I was then able to see it as a folder in my DL folder and use 7 Zip to extract it.

In comparison I also bought the monster PDF card creator program and had absolutely no problems with it.

Weird.
