I've produced some summon monster [augmented] pdf's and was wondering whether I can send them to the Pathfinder Database for general publishing?
I could send one via email for someone to evaluate its legality, I don't want to do the wrong thing.
I have ones for SM III, IV, V & VI(nearly finished).
I'm not sure what you mean by "Pathfinder Database," but we don't publish community-generated content. You may be able to do that yourself under the OGL, our Pathfinder RPG Compatibility License and/or Paizo Publishing Community Use Policy.

pathfinderdb.com is not owned or operated by Paizo and is a repository of fan-made content for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. I'd send an email to me@tahsin.com. The guy who runs pathfinderdb.com is named veector on Paizo boards and is a really swell guy :)
However, I don't THINK he hosts PDF's but I could be wrong. If he can't host the PDF's and they comply with the Pathfinder Community Use Policy I'd be happy to put them up on d20pfsrd.com.

Anyone out there who understands Abyssal? :)
I'm happy to send you one, for you to see.

Hi stuart
If this is content you don't intend to make money off of, I'm happy to post them on the site. Send them to my email address me [at] tahsin [dot] com.
No I don't want to make any money for this, I'm doing it because it's a useful game aid and because I'm a geek!
Sent permission for Summon Nature's Ally III - IX.
Which website?
Augmented Summon Monster III-IX nearly complete, will send when done.

So I took a look at them. If I understand correctly, you want people to use these as reference sheets when they cast Summon Monster/Summon Nature's Ally... etc?
If so, I'm sorry to say I can't publish them. Since my site is a community site, I'm only allowed to publish material containing images authorized by Paizo or images created independent of Paizo and having the artist's permission. These PDFs contain images that would violate that agreement.
Thanks for thinking of the site though. If you have any other submissions for the site, feel free to use the submission forms which are visible after you register for the site.

Would removing the non-Paizo images make a difference? I just didn't want a blank space instead of a picture.

You need to remove all art you do not have explicit permission to use. That would be all of the art, by my guess.
Hmmm, that would turn them into stat blocks, which is kinda dull but I guess more practical. Begs the question, why not just do a huge table with their stats in, with maybe a special abilities info sheet.

I would too like the pdfs, so whenever you get a chance. acemikels at hotmail dot com.
I would think removing the artwork would allow the pdfs to be published on a fansite. Honestly though, I'm a little perturbed at Paizo for NOT posting these somewhere. Yes, I know they are in the Bestiary and all you're really doing is adding the Celestial or Fiendish templates to the stat block. But if you're like me and haven't got it and have to use the SRD occasionally, its annoying to try and figure it out. I could just be a dumb newbie GM but hey, we all start out that way.
I know that http://www.d20pfsrd.com/ had some but not all of the templates posted. Just wish I could get all.
Appreciate what the community as whole has done. PF is a great system and I'm glad Paizo isn't a money hungry machine like Wiz/Has is.

Doesn't EVERYONE want all for nothing?? :)
Not that it applies to this conversation terribly much but just as an FYI, I just finished posting fully statted out versions of animated objects from Tiny to Colossal today. You can see them here. If anyone notices anything incorrect about them please let me know.

I think a stats table plus special abilities info could be very useful. I, also, would love to have access to these pdf's (bobisyoung at hotmail dot com). Perhaps you'd be interested in "TreantMonking" them at some point!

Got mine and loving them! Thanks!

Not at all, pleased to be of some help.
This all started because I'm playing a Conjurer with augment summoning [started out at level 7 as my previous character has his brains eaten by a Mindflayer!], and one of the other party members is a Druid!
It occurred to me that at low level Summons only hang around for 1-3 rounds and that's kinda rubbish, and also starting the character at level 7 made them irrelevant.
However, I will try to complete the "sets" in the next few days and will mail everyone with the updates.

Yeah I'd recommend posting them somewhere. If they are OGL/CUP legal then I'd say either get them over to Pathfinderdb.com or I can host them on d20pfsrd.com- again, assuming they're OGL/CUP compliant etc.
What's your email address, I'll send you them and you can judge for yourself [when I read the legal stuff I kinda glaze over and I'm reminded of the time I tried to read the Knight class in 3.5.. and then I fall asleep!]

jreyst@gmail.com. I'll check them out, though I think veector already determined they were not in compliance. I'm not sure if you've done anything to them between when he looked at them and now.

These look great. A minor comment. Since these are explicitly for summoning, it might make sense to remove the abilities not available to summoned creatures
A summoned monster cannot summon or otherwise conjure another creature, nor can it use any teleportation or planar travel abilities. Creatures cannot be summoned into an environment that cannot support them. Creatures summoned using this spell cannot use spells or spell-like abilities that duplicate spells with expensive material components
So the Lantern Archon cannot teleport and cannot cast Continual Flame (costly component). A Dretch cannot summon another Dretch.
It would be nice to clean this up so I'm not tempted to use an ability that is not supported by mistake in the heat of a combat :-).

You should know the rules about no summoning!!!
Yeah, in a perfect world I wouldn't have a new campaign starting on Sunday and I'd have more time to spend geeking on this stuff but feel free to remove the offending parts via Foxit PDFEdit [it's free!] Hopefully I'll get time this week but that campaign has a long to-do list, like learning the Harrow Deck for one, aaagh!
