Hi folks! I have a question about Fallen Paladin and her Smite Good Ability:

A Good Paladin score doouble damage against:
Evil outsider
Evil dragons
Undeads

An Evil Paladin should be:
Good Outsiders
Good Dragons
¿?¿?¿?¿?and?

Any good idea? Any official idea?

thanks in advance

Good humanoids.

Good clerics and paladins.

Puppies.

Definitely going to agree that is should be puppies. Maybe even kittens as well if you think that won't unbalance the puppy/kitten core dynamic of the game.

love,

malkav

P.S. (you may want to also consider adding good aligned fey into that third spot for a proper fairy creature beatdown)

I dont think so, Evil puppies? Probably yes, like Elmo or something similar.

Any other Idea?

This might just be me, but I tend to think that a blackguard/antipaladin's smite should be effective against pretty much anything, except maybe worshipers of the same deity. I mean really, how many evil gods are there that don't hate other evil gods. If they valued life or some protective ideal enough to limit what you could smite they wouldn't be evil would they?

I mean, its perfect that antipaladin can smite good agains other paladin (good paladin of course), but the double damage its very different, if you give a double damage against characters with good aura (clerics and paladins) the smite evil its underpowered because you cant do double damage agains characters with evil aura.

I dont know what to do to change the double damage agains undead creatures for the evil paladin.

Just change it to non-evil PCs, and you're all set.

Make it against "everything", then. Evil is sanitised violence, after all.

I'm surprised the puppies references are still there.
