Using Wands With Spells Higher Than You Could Cast

Rules Questions

So I've got a Sorcerer 2/Fighter 7 multi-class character. Bull's Strength is a spell that's on the Sorcerer/Wizard spell list, but not one this character would ordinarily be able to cast before getting 2 more levels in Sorcerer.

Could I use a Wand of Bull's Strength? If so, would I need to make a UMD check? Or can I use any Arcane wand as a spell completion item automatically since I can cast Arcane spells?

Activation: Wands use the spell trigger activation method,(snip)

Spell Trigger: Spell trigger activation is similar to spell completion, but it's even simpler. No gestures or spell finishing is needed, just a special knowledge of spellcasting that an appropriate character would know, and a single word that must be spoken. Spell trigger items can be used by anyone whose class can cast the corresponding spell. This is the case even for a character who can't actually cast spells, such as a 3rd-level paladin. The user must still determine what spell is stored in the item before she can activate it. Activating a spell trigger item is a standard action and does not provoke attacks of opportunity.

Yes, you can use a Wand of Bull's Strength without a UMD check. This is more commonly seen with Rangers/Paladins using Cure 'x" Wounds Wands long before they even have spells as in the example under Spell Trigger.

I have the characters roll a level check - it's an easy like DC 5 Wis check.
