Hey all, I was looking through the Bestiary and noticed while the entry for Animated Object states that a permanently animated object can be created with Craft Construct it does not go into any detail on CL, Price, spell requirements, etc... Can anyone help with that?
EDIT: As a side note it looks like Animated Object might be a test run for the summoner class ability :)

Out of curiousity, do golems list any such things?
I know thru the use of permanency spell its minimum 14th CL and cost 15000 gp to make an animated object permanent. But yeah, Craft (construct) sounds like something new.
BTW I don't have the Bestiary PDF yet, I'm just trying to add to the discussion.

The Craft Construct feat is located in the back of the Bestairy in one of the appendices. I can't remember if there are generic rules for determining a crafted construct's price, though... This might need some sort of errata or something. The problem is that there's not really any room on the Animated Object's page for those rules. I'll look into it.

Thanks James! I am really interested in making constructs and the animated objects seem to fill a niche that isn't covered by the other construct types.

Also, the Craft construct feat (and all construct definitions) need to be retooled so that they work well together. the feat describes the construction process as defined by the total gp cost of the construct, but the entry for animated objects make no such distinction...only the size and abilities of the created automaton.
