Simple Question - What would be the best bloodline to give Xanesha when converting her to PFRPG?
Seeker's right, Arcane is pretty cool, but there are new ones for 2$ that may fit based on the, like the Greed Bloodline in the following.
Since it's a Lamia, and I may be wrong here (since I'm at work and can't remember if they are affiliated with demons or not), but would the Abyssal bloodline make sense as well?

Hmm. This raises an interesting question: Do Lamia matriarchs get bloodline powers for their monster caster levels too, and are there specific bloodlines which they get by region or 'family'? (EG Do lamia matriarchs from Xin-Shalast tend to be draconic or aberration bloodlines, lamia matriarchs from the deserts and mountains of Garund tend to be elemental bloodlines, etc?)
In the absence of any direct comment from Mr. Pett or Mr. Jacobs on the matter, my thought is to go with the Draconic bloodline, assume that Xanesha has bloodline powers equal to an eighth level sorcerer (her given caster level), and pick one of the dragons with the fire subtype (she does have scorching ray on her spell list!). Xanesha is mostly a melee challenge for the PCs, so the natural armour boost should come in handy, and the bloodline bonus feats and bonus spells are already partially duplicated by existing feats/spells she has, freeing her up to further improve her combat orientation with alternate feats or spell choices.
And if for some reason you want to increase her sorcerer level by one more level, then she gets a breath attack to annoy PCs with from range, too...
Edit:
I see the editor has posted whilst I was composing this post to recommend Arcane bloodline.

If i recall monsters do not gain bloodline powers . The have a sorcs caster level and number of spells but are not of that class
If a monster casts spells like a sorcerer (such as a dragon, or a naga, or a drider), then they don't gain bloodline powers at all.
If a monster actually takes levels of sorcerer, then it DOES gain bloodline powers.
If a monster casts spells like a sorcerer AND takes levels of sorcerer, its sorcerer levels stack with its monster-granted spellcasting to determine how many spells it can cast and what its caster level is, but it only gains bloodline powers from actual sorcerer levels.
SO! Taking Xanesha as an example...
In Pathfinder RPG, she's a lamia matriarch sorcerer 2. Before she took her 2 sorcerer levels, she could already cast spells as a 6th level sorcerer as part of her being a lamia matriarch... but that doesn't grant her any bloodline powers or anything else beyond just the spells.
When Xanesha gains her 2 sorcerer levels, she picks a bloodline and gains Eschew Materials as a bonus feat. Let's just say she picks the Arcane bloodline. Now, while she's only got 2 sorcerer levels, those stack with her 6 effective sorcerer levels from being a lamia matriarch. SO!
• She casts spells as an 8th level sorcerer, including determining how many spells per day she can cast, how many she knows, and what her caster level and concentration checks are.
• She gains Eschew Materials as a bonus feat (from taking 1 level of actual sorcerer).
• She gains the Arcane bloodline (from taking that level). Since she has two actual levels of sorcerer, she gains the Arcane bloodline arcana power, and also gains an arcane bond (probably her spear). She's only a 2nd level sorcerer though, so she does NOT gain her first bonus spell, any bonus feats, or any of the higher level bloodline powers.

Wait, won't that retcon her spear as not treasure now, cause that's a pretty powerful weapon, or am I remembering wrong and you can bond magic items just as you can bond non-magic items?

For the cost of CL x 200gp (I think) you can bond with a previously existing magic item. Any new enchantments you put on the item don't work for others, but the previously existing magic does.
So if Xanesha bonded to her spear (which by accounts of the history of such items most likely predates her) and then made it flaming, it would only be flaming in her hands, but still an Impaler of Thorns for anyone else.

I still wish they'd run the tough version of that ending...
You know there's absolutely no reason you can't post the "tough version" of the ending on this forum as an alternate xanesha fight. I don't think the paizo people would mind at all as long as it was spelled out as unnoficial and a directors cut. So the only reason the "tough" version isn't out there, is because you don't mind it not being out there.
I garuntee you post it and i'll use it.
