Acrobatics and AOO

Rules Questions

Sovereign Court

When you use acrobatics to avoid an AOO does that count as your standard action? That seems to be how I am reading it. If thats true, I believe the risk is not worth it. Can you folks help me understand this action better and when it would be useful?

What makes you think it is Standard instead of "Part of a Move action"?

Well I cant find in the skill description anything that clearly states what type of action it is. Under the actions section using a skill falls under standard actions. That at least is how I read it and so does my GM. I would like to think its a move action but I cant find anything to support that assumption.

Well, under Acrobatics:

You tumble as part of another action. The actual cost is the speed reduction.
