Feat stacking

Rules Questions

Hey guys!

So, I have a player who asked me an interesting question. He wants to know about stacking combat feats within the same round. The particular example is Lunge with Great Cleave. Does this give him an effective ten foot reach, all threatened, for Great Cleave? I didn't see anything that specifically prevented this, but I may have missed it.

I can also ask this question of many feats. Can you stack Power Attack + Great Cleave + X + Y? Etc.

Lunge does not require any specific action like Great Cleave does so they can be combined together. Some feats require a specific action so like Great Cleave and Gorgon's Fist. So as they both require a standard action they can not be combined together.

Power Attack does not require any action so it can be combined with other feats. Its just feats that use a specific action that can not be combined together.

Yep, he can use both. Don't forget that it is a total -4 to AC so if he doesn't kill everyone in range he is going to likely suffer some retaliation. The key to feat stacking is to see what action they take or are a part of.

Excellent. Thank you for the responses!
