[CRB Error] Agile Maneuvers feat (2nd try!)

Rules Questions

P117, Agile Maneuvers feat:

"Add your Dexterity bonus to your base attack bonus and size bonus when determining "...

This should be :
"Add your Dexterity bonus to your base attack bonus and size modifier when determining "...

I had already noted a similar error here in August 2008 (Alpha 3 release).

Please note that (P198) CMB = Base Attack Bonus + Strength Modifier + Special Size Modifier!!

Is it possible that they intended to remove size penalties when creating this feat? It seems rather strong that way (especially for fine creatures), but it is a possible way to interpret it.

That's an interesting point.

The feat itself seems to be for agile combatants to be able to trip up stronger opponents. I imagine the methods for dexterous combat maneuvers will be very different the strength based ones. It's using Aikido style techniques like using the opponents strength and momentum against them, as opposed to hooking a leg and yanking hard. In the first example being smaller doesn't necessarily make it more difficult to achieve.

It doesn't seem too much of a stretch. I'm curious whether it was intentional or not.

Oh - I just notice there are actually many errors in the Agile Maneuvers feat description.. I have highlighted all these errors:

Quote:

Agile Maneuvers (Combat)

You’ve learned to use your quickness in place of brute force when performing combat maneuvers.

Benefit: You add your Dexterity bonus to your base attack bonus and size bonus when determining your Combat Maneuver Bonus (see Chapter 8) instead of your Strength bonus.

Normal: You add your Strength bonus to your base attack bonus and size bonus when determining your Combat Maneuver Bonus.

All the bold 'bonus' words should be replaced by 'modifier'
