CJ, luckly this time there might be more artists than articles ;) so Maybe there won't be need for anyone to take more than one piece. There is even one article that uses 3 different artists for 3 different monsters.
There are at least 4 professional artists this time, so you can expect a SUPER EYE CANDY on this issue. So far there are two full-page art assigned and several half page scenes. I'm VERY excited about the art on this issue :D
I won't be doing interior art this time unless someone drops out and I come filling in. So no Gunslinger from me...sadly :(
Aw man! I would have liked to do a monster!

Butterfrog/Lilith:
Is Wayfinder #2 going to release as a download before we run out of 2009? If you're not certain, are you willing to post a per centage chance of that occuring?
Not likely. Xmas time is the busiest for lost of people, so I don't think it will be ready. In any case I think it will be out on the first two weeks on January.

[Newsflash] All articles are edited and on the Graphic Designer hands. 80% of the art is finished and submitted too the remaining art is due this week.
The graphic designer of this issue is a SURPRISE! and "its" identity will be revealed as soon as I get a green light from him/her to do so, but I'm telling you this, you are going to love it!
The issue will be ready in within the next two weeks, give or take a year or two :P, The holidays took more time off everyone than I expected
So its rounded up like this
-28 Articles
-30+ Illos (most of it colored)
Its still on developing process, so these number may change (the articles are quite unlikely to change thou).
Again, an amazing piece of work, I think this one will a lot better than the first one visually, congratulations to everyone!
PS: I'd be thinking on my the Wayfinder3/paizoCon 2010 article ;) ...

Great news, Butterfrog!
If you guys want us to start working up for Wayfinder 3, you'll need to spill the beans on theme/concept, won't you? ;-)
Hehe...sorry, the holidays really threw me off.

Hey, have you guys considered having an article with rejected RPG Superstar ideas (self-rejected or Paizo-rejected)? I mean, you guys already include Pathfinder-themed stuff, it might be kind of cool. And it'd give a lot of people a chance to get articles in, since there wouldn't have to be a whole article for each submission?
Just bouncing off ideas.

Those entries that were submitted are property of Paizo and not available under the Community Use Policy.

Oh, really? I didn't know that, I guess I didn't read the rules and such carefully enough. Alright, then, what about just self-rejected ideas? That'd still work.

Yes. Especially if you think it's a poor illustration.

Update:
Articles: 100% finished
Artwork 95% finished (all articles have at least one illo)
Layout: 50%
I believe the WF will be ready by the end of next week. We have took like a month longer than I thought we would, and the holidays prove to take more time off our hands than expected. Next time we shall be prepared!

I just got a near-finished picture of the final artist to deliver his artwork and now all art is pretty much done.
I must say, at leat one of the writers may shed a tear of joy when seeing their art... I know I did :D
