Okay, I am loving the fact that he hurled after casting feather fall. That's just great. So far this is pretty good- actually what I had in mind when I first heard of order of the stick.

Feel free!
Just hope they don't find what's buried under the giant ale kegs!
Strangely enough, today's adventure is based off of a disturbing dream I had last night.
I dreamt that I was in an abandoned school building, following up a lead that there were people living in some kind of subterranean structure they had tunneled underneath it.
The first floor of the building was dilapidated but quite normal, with it's only features being abandoned classrooms and an empty elevator shaft that held strips of leather with the names and stories of people who were trapped in the building written in white paint. This was disturbing to say the least, but it was nothing compared to what awaited on the second level. More white paint, but this time used for graffitied messages all over the walls- directions to a place called "Prostrate"(really a hidden area on the third floor- perhaps where the giant ale kegs are on your map), pleas for mercy, last will and testaments, suggestions to say quiet because "it can hear you", helpful messages written down that eventually degrade into babbling insanity, and worse. I wish I could remember what it was in the waking world, but in the dream I couldn't even read it for fear of losing my mind. This floor was a conglomeration of a modern building's basement and rough-hewn tunnel, and looked completely frightening. The next level was all tunnel. More directions written in white on the walls, more desperate pleas, including one that says "I am not afr" with the "r" turning into a long streak of white dragged across the wall as if they were dragged off by something in the middle of writing it. The sole feature on this floor was a pristine metal cabinet barely big enough to stand in, but it was built into the wall, with the word "Prostrate" written over it. I opened it to discover it opened into a very small room, about the size of a cubicle, and there were messages written all over the inside of it, in a wide variety of handwriting styles. Suggestions that one should not pray because "it will answer your prayers", suggestions that one should breath through their nose and not their mouth because it will make too much noise...all of these things and more. This room is intentionally too small to stand in, one is meant to lay flat on the ground on their belly(i.e. prostrate) until trouble passes.
Around this time in the dream, I woke up. But now I have another dream of having characters fumble around in the dark searching for a missing person and come across this place as a possiblity. I'm not sure how I'm going to fit it all together, but your map will certainly help!

That is an AWESOME dream!
Woo.
All I dreamed about last night was an ex-girl friend.
I'll trade ya.
;)
Anyway, Guess we will be sharing ideas, because I'm running my D&D game this weekend and I think I just read some additional flavor that I'll be using for the abandoned temple on the island.
Thanks!

Let me know what you think.
As always, the Wednesday update will be live at noon, but not color.

One of the things I find interesting is how when you introduce a stick figure who's different than the rest, you know there's a story there. I like the fact that rather than sitting there and trying to push that story out in five panels, you're actually doling it out in parcels, which is really how it would naturally flow.
Well written in that regard. I just wish it would update more often is my only fault. Then again I think that's most web comic fans complaint.

I feel your pain Dissinger.
I WANT to update more.
I'd love to be doing a three day a week update and I have story written
so far out that I could with ease.
Sadly, I work full time, have a live in GF, run a D&D game, etc...
So, until I win the lottery, or the site starts generating a large following, I'm stuck with once a week.
There is always hope though.

Nice, very nice. I likes it.
Man, he is in deep now isn't he..I like that about this comic. He isn't just slicing down the extras like so much wheat. He seems to be in genuine trouble here. Hard to find even in a webcomic nowadays.
