Need Player for 4E PBP (Sellswords of Punjar)

Hello,

We recently had a player leave due to RL issues. We now have 1 open spot that needs filled to round out our 5 person party.

The party has only been playing for a month or so. Now is a good time to jump in if you're interested. All of the necessary class roles are filled, so new characters can feel free to create just about anything they want.

Please see our Obsidian Portal Wiki for character creation and posting guidelines. You can also read through the wiki to catch up with the campaign and get a feel for the setting. Also, here is the game thread and the discussion thread.

Because the campaign is just getting started, the new character will likely just get retconned into the place of the old character for simplicity's sake. You'll also be able to jump into the current battle right away!

Kenneth is a human bard
Vandis is a human barbarian
Dannad is a halfling rogue

Rarely do I find occasion to correct Rosey, but I'm nearly certain Vandis is a fighter -- he just seems barbaric to Dagobert.

Good, all the roles are covered. So, any room for a semi-refluffed Deva Shaman? I'd have to redo the sheet, probably change the background benefit, but there's no way to get around that.

It's an urban campaign so I've been trying to steer clear of most of the primal classes. However, I'll allow it as long as you can give me a good backstory for why this shaman is walking around what is basically one of the most corrupt and filthy cities in the world.

I should be just about updated now. As for the reason why he should be in Punjar in the first place, I hope I came up with a good enough reason.

His previous incarnation was evil, and he couldn't just let any plans it had that were still in effect go on. Galad does research into ways to better remember previous lives, and all he gets out of it are the ability to make the remnants of his previous incarnation stab what he wants stabbed (ie his Companion Spirit) and a single place the memories kept returning to: Punjar.

Galad looks good and I like the backstory. However, I have to warn you that I have a personal hatred of shaman in 4E. :)

What a coincidence, I have an irrational love of the shaman. It's weird, I hate the cleric and warlord, but I love the bard, shaman and artificer. Anyway, message sent.
