Background, Rough: Last incarnation was on the Brink of Corruption, adventurers bashed his head in, Galad later formed in a sacred oasis in the Desert. Later went to a town, (re)joined the temple of Delvyr, and generally became a wandering Scholar (Training in Arcana)

Spoiler:
Like most deva, Galad doesn't remember much of his past life. In fact, the only thing that comes to mind easily was that his previous incarnation was not a good person; in fact, it's surprising that he didn't reincarnate as a rakshasha. Galad began researching ways to better see the memories of his previous incarnations in the hopes of discovering what his previous incarnation had planned before his (un)timely demise. Yes, he is now a bit too connected to his previous incarnation than is comfortable, but one place has come up again and again: Punjar. Punjar nearly led to his soul's damnation, and it shall be the site of his redemption.

Personality vignette thing: Internal thoughts italicized, and this has basically no effect on anything

Spoiler:

Your children have been kidnapped? I must help them.
...and what have those kids done for you lately?...
It does not matter what they have done for me, saving them is what is right.
...so? doesn't mean you have to risk your skin helping them...
No, I have to help them. Just because you needed some material benefit to do anything does not mean I must also.
...oh, but it does. you and me are cut from the same cloth, you see...
Shut up
...tell me, why do you always go out of your way to do these good deeds? is it because you really want to do the right thing? or is it because you just don't want to admit how similar we are?...
Shut up
...
I'm sorry. I will save your children.

Opinion of other PCs:

Spoiler:
Haven't met the other party members

Appearance: Nearly 6'5", Galad strikes an imposing figure. His skin is primarily a dark purple, with a small white mark in thee middle of his forehead. His expression is nearly always serene, although occasionally there seems to be a quick flash of something. He typically wears leather armor with raised shoulderguards that seem to invoke wings and a white silk cloak. Around his neck he wears two things: A holy symbol of Ioun and a string of white beads ending in a humanoid shape carved of ebony, which seems slightly different every time you look apon it.
