Simple. Disney has done script changes and title edits if they cause any sort of public outcry whatsoever. For example, the decision by the Walt Disney Company to prevent Miramax from releasing Fahrenheit 911 in 2004. They have edited all of their past cartoons to be more PC.
Perhaps you're right. Maybe they aren't right wing. But they have of history of revisionist censorship that cannot be denied. Compare a DVD copy of Fantasia to the old VHS version.

Oh, I see. That's how it is, is it? All amphibians look alike to you, do they? All interchangeable? Well, the ACLU (Amphibians Civil Liberties Union) will hear about this, buddy.

I'll bite. I'm not familiar with the DVD of Fantasia. I heard some story about seemingly racist shots of a black centaurette attending on the white centaurettes being cut. Other than that, how was the DVD censored?

And yet, at the same time, you have things like this:
The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) and the American Family Association voted to boycott Disney over opposition to the latter offering domestic partnership benefits to gay employees and the ABC show Ellen, in which Ellen DeGeneres' character came out as a lesbian; Disney ignored the boycotts, which failed. Both were withdrawn in 2005.
Disney ignored these protests, possibly because they realized it was more popular for them to take a pro-gay stance. They've also had plenty of controversial movies and TV shows (Kill Bill, Trainspotting, Clerks) that weren't censored in any way. For them, I think, it's all about picking your battles and keeping as much of your audience happy as you can. That's just good business.

They have edited all of their past cartoons to be more PC.
PC is usually the territory staked out by the left wing in the United States, not the right wing.
In the event, by 1970, New Left proponents had adopted the term political correctness. In the essay The Black Woman, Toni Cade Bambara says: “. . . a man cannot be politically correct and a [male] chauvinist too” — a usage that widened the definition’s scope to include the politics of gender and identity to the politics of ideologic orthodoxy in governing.

Yep, we are less buggy and work better. :)

Is that site broken? Is it "put all content into babelfish, translate from English to Indian to Japanese to French and back to English" day? Or am I just too tired?
Or is that stuff just unreadable? Or am I just not getting it?

You know what this reminds me of.
The X-Box/Playstation hardcore fan boys dissing on Wii cause it is causal.
Like in all things you should quote people because someone has summed it up better than you before.
They're idiots, anyway. Games are supposed to be fun. The Wii does that. It's also the only console I even consider playing shooter type games on.
Yes, I have a Wii. I have some casual games, and some of the stuff that will captivate you.
I also have a PC that eats PS3s for breakfast, for when I want to play shooters, or occasionally some eye-candy.
What do I need a PS3 for? What does it do that my PC doesn't?

Putting Millar into that ditch, then refilling it, and paving over it would be a better start.

I could do that with my PC, too. My screens aren't that much smaller than my TV, and they're nearer to my couch.
In fact, I'm writing from my couch right now.
Of course, I wouldn't want to play every game like that, because the couch isn't working that well with mouse and keyboard (and most of the games I play on the PC just don't work with a joypad), but it's far from impossible.
And if I want my larger TV screen, I can hook up my PC to the PC via HDMI if I want to, too.
But my computer chair is pretty comfy, too.

Edit: or should that read "Have a Laptop? I take it."
I did talk about computers. My laptop computer is not made for playing games on. I won't spend a lot of money on gamer laptop when I'd rather spend the money on a gamer PC and get so much more power for it. I'm not traveling the country playing Crysis or anything.
And, as you implied: When I have laptops to play, they're not computers... (and yeah, I'm lying through my teeth here ;-))

How does this work relative to the theme parks?
Currently in Orlando, Universal's Islands of Adventure theme park has a Marvel Super Heroes island. But the Universal parks are the main competitor to the Disney parks. I assume that the parks were already paying Marvel a boatload to use their various IPs and now that money just goes to Disney instead.

If Disney can clean up the mess Marvel made with One More Day then I fully endorse this buyout.
SO instead of Mephisto offering to change things, it will be Mickey? :P
[Mickey Mouse voice]Hah hah! Hi Peter!! If you sell me you're soul, I'll let Aunt May live!! Because here at Disney, we don't let old people die or else their family has no "reason to visit them in Florida"![/Mickey Mouse voice}]

I knew it! He'll just don his Sorcerer's Aprentice's hat and fire Silver Surfer and Mephisto.

Clearly that is an issue that will have to be worked out. I'm willing to bet that both parties can come to a resonble and mutually acceptble agreement.
