Fighter Weapon Training

Does it stack with weapon focus, weapon specialization, etc?

I was under the impression that a bonus listed only as "+1 bonus" stacks with everything.

*Yes* - you can see the fighter preview Here for evidence, but as said above, if there is not a type to the bonus (and it's not the same source) they stack by general rule.

I have a question about how Weapon Training interacts with archetypes.

Weapon training states that you get a bonus with one weapon group, then the bonuses increases by 1 and you add another weapon type at each level.

My question is, which parts of that ability are wrapped up in weapon training 2, 3, etc. and how this interacts with taking one level of weapon training in an archetype

Example: I'm playing a two-weapon warrior, but instead of taking the ability that replaces weapon training 1 (the important thing is the wording for this ability are the same as standard weapon training except for adding another weapon group) I decide to stick with weapon training 1. Does this mean I get the bonus for one weapon group and it increases every 4 levels, but I do not get additional weapon groups, or does it leave me with a flat +1 bonus to one weapon group through the whole progression?

You don't get to choose to take weapon training 1, you have to take the archetype ability.

I see, I think I was confused by the line about taking more than one archetype.

In this case my question is why is the Twin Blades ability written as it is? By RAW you only gain the benefits when making a full attack and so this means even when you are wielding two weapons you get no benefit from Twin Blades while using Doublestrike, Deft Doublestrike, or Equal Opportunity abilities.

It seems like each turn you get to pick the benefits of two of the archetype's core abilities, when they look like they are meant to work together and in any turn where you move you lose a +5 to hit and damage by level 20, which seems like a pretty major limitation.

I never noticed that but you are right the penalty is big. I think it should be rewritten to allow twin blades to apply to the other abilities also. Houserule time for me.

Same here, it doesn't make the archetype useless, but it certainly reduces its attractiveness a lot.

Now that I've looked at the archetype with this in mind in greater detail I have realized that the focus of the class is still on full attacking and the ability to make a standard attack with two weapons is simply a bonus, rather than a core class ability as I thought it was.

This still means that if you have to move in a round you completely lose the benefit of your Weapon Training, which seems to be a very hefty cost to me.
