WereCabbages, and Contributors, and Cheliax ! Oh My ! (few Gen Con pics)

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

FreeholdDM (Gary) could not make Gen Con this year so a few of us took some pics for him so that he will double his efforts to come next year.

He was gracious enough to host a few of them on his Rpgbomb page. (thanks gary)

About a fourth of those pics taken are from when Louis Agresta and the WereCabbages were kind enough to host some late night gaming.

Our gracious host.

The Three Caballeros - Senor Healy, Senor Daigle, and Senor Vaughan

Sorry Greg I think Gary forgot an 'a'.

Two envoys from Cheliax meet in a traditional formal Cheliax greeting.

Lou running a Cthulhu game. Had I known it was a Cthulhu I would have begged/cried my way into joining; Greg never made it home.

Nicolas Logue runs a 'Dune/Demigods R Us' game using Marvel Super Hero rules. (no joke) WE WERE SO IN IT TO WIN IT !! Tim Hitchcock (fresh from the success of the Paizocon interactive) plays the patriach of a Galaxy spanning noble house.

There are times when players do the most brilliant things; and there are times like here, when the players just 'accidentally' killed thousands of civillians, so time to rethink our strategy. NO re roll FOR YOU ! Notice DM Logue is the only one sporting the stylish faction shirt.

But ... its so pretty when a planet goes boom.

No cookies were harmed at this table ...because we ate them all.

I think (pretty sure) this is DM4Hire.

Paizo fireworks display after launch of PRPG.

Ah-ha! Is that Lilith I see in one picture with The Arkham Horror set up before her? ;)

Hey dude, thanks for the awesome pictures! When I'm down in NYC to run, I'll let you know. I'll probably run Cthulu. If you friend me on facebook or join the RPGAggression fan thing/blog, I'll have a way hold of you.

Also, you might dig on nerdnyc if you don't know it already. They give some good game all year long.

It is indeed. I made the mistake of trying to learn how to play it far too late at night when I had to be up early the next day.

Only if it were. Though there'd be a lot of explaining to my girlfriend. This is me.

And here's me with The Precious.

Edit: I decided to separate out my Pathfinder pictures so you could find them better if you browsed my pictures as they were scattered in with the other 197 random pictures from GenCon. Here's a link to all my Pathfinder pics. Here. Feel free to tag anyone you know or add me as a friend if we met.

Wayne Newton was there?

Paizo Employee Director of Narrative

Thanks for sharing those pics, Noel!

Great pics!

Baron, we must have seen each other in that room. I was in and out of there a few times. I was the allergic-to-a-haircut guy.

Then again, maybe we were introduced and I just didn't know you vuzz da Baron himzelf.

Funny, FreeholdDM (Gary) asked me if I met you and I was surprised that I did not - however I have another 8 or so pics from the night of the above pics. Did you sit in on a game ? If so I HAVE YOUR PIC.

Oh YOUR DM4Hire !

Yes indeed you have the record sir (don't tell Josh, I believe he had made that mod out to be an entry level one full of daisies, bunnies and gumdrops - and I guess DEATH), not the most peachy keen record to have but a record none the less ! And your players still had fun !

I mentioned your exploits to some DMs in the New York Pathfinder society, who were surprised players had a rough time of it; but you have some Manahattan fanboys.

Also, if I knew how to 'tag' someone on your pics - I could tag about 90 percent of the DMs in your pre Gencon party Paizo was kind enough to throw, I made a point of learning all the DM's names (but not thier messageboard aliases unfortunately) that I could before running off to grab some dinner.

I was in and out of the room, sat down awhile after Werewolf and before the other gaming.

I was late for Werewolf because of podcast mixing, and then I couldn't stay n' play in the many games because I had to go to a White Wolf party for a meeting. Thing is, the party was in a club with broken air conditioning. It was a true melting pot. I only lasted about 35 minutes tops before fleeing.

I'm such a dink. When I entered the club they marked my hand for re-entry with a black cross. I held it up and said, "Daring. This is like... theme park goth."

Nope - that's me!

One mystery is solved.

Now if I could just find out what the deal with Wayne Newton was, everything'd be neat and tidy.
