Oh gods there is a tiger in the city!!!

So a city based series of adventures say "curse of the crimson throne", how does one deal with a druid with a tiger companion....are they SOL, does the tiger stay outside the city...or in a place where people have imps resting on their shoulders is a tiger no big deal....opinions?

From the city authorities view - Charge a large bond for any possible damage done by the Tiger, as well as a dangerous pet fee, and you have to keep it on leash and muzzled when in public.

From the players perspective - Get a false halter and leash that is designed to break at a Str 10 check in such a way that the tiger won't be hindered. Use illusions, bribes or intimidation so that the guards don't look to close.

The player (and tiger) could pretend to be part of traveling act or carnival that's "arriving soon."
