Like it says...anyone think Paizo will add a forum solely for Char Op stuff like what wotC had?
I think it would be kinda fun (always is playing around with the theoretical stuff) and even does serve abit of a purpose (lets designers know what and how people are using RAW to achieve brutal effects, possibly outside of the scope of what was intended).

Accually I was just thinking about this Krigare there is alot of people talking about the weakness and strengths of each thing.
Let people duke it out in that fourm. And I agree with wizards oldline character optimization and role playing are not mutually exclusive.
I encourge it as game master because I want people to feel that they are doing the best they can do.
If everyone is optimizing there charaters then they will get more out of the experince because no one is lagging behind and there competive spirit and desire to have good team memebers keeps everyone on the same level.
Even the people who made pun pun said his not ment to be played.
I think it would be a great idea.

I think many people are afraid of what will come out of such forum, but what is not realized is that a dedicated munchkin will find a way to break your game.
One problem I see with Char Op for PF is that many of the builds will depend on how much of 3.5's stuff is still in use(allowed by the DM).

The dedicated munchkin is why I think its a good idea. Lets DM's surf a forum to see what to keep an eye on.
As to the other...the old Char Op forum had the rules of needed to be an official book. If the same rule applies, it functions well enough.

That is what I used the old Char OP forum for. That way when I hear about some "harmless" ability I can say no. I say we just start the threads and see if they create a place for us to put them. We should have rules also. One of them would be you would have to list whether a build is purely PF or not.

Eh, was trying to do it without cluttering up a forum =)
And I'd say the standard assumtion (or rule) would be PF published material, with non PF material citing a reference book and page, plus any conversions made if any. Not a direct copy, since that would probably be violating copyright laws, but just stating the conversions done and where the original source material is shouldn't be breaking copyright law.
And thanks Ross, wasn't sure where the thread should have been made =)

Since there's already an existing thread on this subject I'm going to go ahead and close this one.
