Quick question:
The Sun Domain power Nimbus of Light (Su): What kind of action does it take? I'm guessing a standard. Also, to maintain the light from round to round. Does it require a standard action also? How about dismissing it?
Some insight into this would be appreciated. :o)
EDIT:
Similarily, I see a number of other domain powers worded the same. Useable X-number of rounds (need not be consecutive) per day.
Might of the Gods
Ward Against Death
Aura of Protection
Bramble Armor
Master's Illusion
Remote Viewing
etc...

In the Domains class feature, add the following sentence
to the third paragraph.Unless otherwise noted, activating a domain power is
a standard action.
They added this to the errata. However, no word on what action (if any) is required to maintain the use of the powers for each subsequent round. I'm guessing no action required to maintain.

I believe maintaining ongoing effects is a free action, unless otherwise noted.

Thanks for the replys guys.
I would certainly like to know more about maintaining these powers. If it's like a spell, needing concentration, then it would be a standard action.
EDIT: Unless it's like Directing a spell, then it would be a move action. Which is what I'm leaning towards myself. But who knows.

Its a Supernatual ability which while magical are not spell-like. I take this to mean that they do not have to follow the rules for spells. In example they do not provoke an AoO nor can they be dispelled by Dispel Magic nor affected in any way by spell resistance.
So I am with Stardust that later rounds require no action at all to maintain. This is because we don't have any thing listed in the ability and no default except 'Free' to fall back on.
