I heard a rumor at gencon from someone (you know who you are, mr "i accidentally saw it on his iphone") that one of the classes was a throwback to days gone by...and I almost voiced cavalier....
Supprisingly I'm really pumped about every single one of these classes. Supprisingly as that almost NEVER happens. No matter how good a company is, or how good the writer is, whenever I see something like this there is always a class or two that I just have no interest in whatsoever. Not this time. Now my only problem is getting someone else in my area to DM pathfinder so I can actually play some of these when they come out...along with all the "standard" pathfinder characters I want to make...
I HIGHLY doubt it, but if one of the other two was a martial class very similar to the armsman (I think that's what it was called) from Monte Cook's/Mike Mearle's iron heroes book, that would be bloody super. For anyone not familiar, it was a warrior class that could swap out feats...If I remember right, they had a number of feats per day (level dependent) that they didn't have to chose right away, and could assign at any time durring a day. So if they wake up naked in a tavern with the place being sacked by hobgoblins, they could instantly choose the feat's to make them fight unarmed and dodge blows easier. Then the next day, when they're trying to track the hobgoblin raiders back to their camp and they get ambushed by snipers they could choose a couple ranged feats and counter snipe. Basically where a fighter usually ends up as a master of one style and one weapon, the armsman would wind up highly skilled in any style, and able to use anything he had at hand compotently.

The oracle sounds better than I thought -- someone taking on the aspect of some idea/principle/force is pretty dramatic and interesting, actually, IMO. The others are leaving me fairly neutral at this point -- I won't be ranting and raving when they're put into the game, but I won't be panting for the opportunity to play one, either.

Same here. I think the name was misleading; I thought it was going to be a fortuneteller type.

The 'Summoner' seems a liitle far-fetched. You create something to fight for you? Sorcerer, wizards, and clerics can already make golems.
If you take out the 'Summoner' does the guardian become useless? The idea is good, but I want to see the mechanics before I commit myself to playing it.
I'm imagining something that has a longer duration than a typical summoning spell, and you can summon the exact same creature as you did before, and you can give this creature special abilities and/or HD as you advance in level.

Well, for one thing the summoner's creature is more like a druid's animal companion than a golem a wizard made. Also, if the summoner's killed I'm going to guess the pet's going to act like an animal companion, keep fighting as a generic example of whatever it is, then after the fight just wander off/go back to it's home plane/fall to bits as the energies holding it together finally run out.

When I read the Summoner my first thought was Pokaman trainer.
It might be a cool class i don't know, that was just my first thought. Which I only had cause one of my RP friends is really into that show. So I know far more about it than I ever wanted to know.

Hey guys, let me point you to this thread over here where James, Jason, and I are talking a lot about the new classes.
Thanks!
Edit: Wait, what? That's the old thread! And here I thought there was some juicy new news.
Double-edit: Urf, that post is over a week old.

So have any clues been given as to what the other two classes might be?
Unfortunately no, but I would love to see a new take on the Spirit/Vestige Binder Class.
Edit: Of course, there is always Dario Nardi's excellent Secrets of Pact Magic. As it is, Dario has already provided an quick conversison guide to Pathfinder RPG.

And I think he has a Artificer class in an upcoming Kobold Quarterly and a Witch class in an upcoming product...
