I've given up on all the hellos and goodbyes. Not to be utter lacking in social graces, but because I can't keep up with the coming and going, what with my own drifting. So, hello everyone. Especially Celestial Healer.

I try to atleast say bye...I feel bad for some silly reason if I don't. :D

Oops. Bye. I've got to get back to work. :)

Work is overrated.

Agreed

Well I had my tonsils out when I was four so the tonsilitis doesn't worry me. The oldest has a headache and a fever, not sure what that could be.

I don't do the snaps or the head twist, but I do have a real problem with rolling my eyes. Apparently I do it completely unconsciously and unfortunately rather often, and it's gotten me into trouble before. I have no poker face whatsoever.

Dark Archive

Background for my new pbp character.

Galwynn was born and raised in Shelzar, at least that was what he was always told. Yet nobody could ever adaquately explain why his parents were dusky skinned and dark haired, like most native Shelzari, but his skin and hair were pale. He looked my like a savage from Albadia. At age 14 he discovered a note in his father's papers which indicated that he was adopted but that he must never learn of his true parentage.

He picked up his few belongings and left Shelzar that same day, looking for the truth. Two years later he is still looking. His sorcerous powers mark him as a scion of ancient Lede but he knows little else about who he truely is. He studied briefly at the Glammorhill War College, but his desire to learn who he is soon led him to leave the school. Now his search has lead him to the Calistian border where he believes he may find some answers.

Ha! My son is starting that. It gets him in plenty of trouble...but then again I am pretty sure he gets it from me. :D

He's a first level character so their shouldn't b too much background involved. However, I wanted to leave some threads hanging out in case the GM wants to grab a hold of them.

Dear, you only say that because you haven't been taking your pills. Dips huge pills in oil, slides then into oversized straw. Now, which of these bloody pipes goes to your stomach? Ah, yes...the silent one. Blows into straw, shooting June's "nerve" pills straight to her stomach. There you are, dear: that should help.

Quiet, SC. Dr says mom won't get better without her medicine. And your father just might get homicidal if mom doesn't get better. Why don't you go outside and play ball?

Yes, son. But don't go blaming all the mutant genes on me. Those are from your mother's side of the family. Maybe you'd rather build a trap? Build one for your brother the Cleave...I'd hate for him to attack the family again.

Emperor7, congrats on the almost-25 years of marriage. That's quite an achievement in this day and age. :)

Sorry you're not feeling well Lynora. Drink lots of water. :)

And, hello CH and CB!

Thank you.

Wonder if she'd be up to visiting the Paizo offices for our anniversary?

I've been busy today.

Shadow Elf
Shadow elves are a race of subterranian humanoids, similar to elves. They are somewhat thinner and shorter than elves and have white hair and very pale skin. Their ears are larger than a normal elves ears so that they can hear better underground. They also speak in high pitched voices which sound very squeaky to other races. They have a very insular society and tend to dislike all surface dwellers. Despite this trait they tend towards neutral alignments rather than evil ones.
+2 Dexterity, +2 Intelligence, -2 Charisma; Shadow elves are quick and smart, but they do not work and play well with others.
Darkvision: Shadow elves can see in the dark upto 90 ft.
Elven Immunities: Shadow elves are immune to magical sleep effects and recieve a +2 bonus to saving throws against enchantment spells and effects.
Keen Senses: Shadow elves get a +2 racial bonus to Perception checks.
Weapon Familiarity: Shadow eleves are proficent with longswords, short swords and halbards.
Languages: Shadow elves begin play speaking Elven and Undercommon. Shadow elves with high Intelligence can choose from the following: Common, Draconic, Dwarven, Gnoll, Gnome, Goblin, Infernal, Orc, and Terran.

It's true, Ward. SC isn't even yours. He is the result of a wild night with Papa Smvrf.

I love Mystara, but have to do all the conversion work myself. I figure I would share. You can also comment on it here.

Not to mention it gives you another option for underground elves besides drow.

Yeah well lets get Earth Wind, Fire, and Water in here to liven things up.

I'm gearing up for a meeting in about half an hour, and I fear it will take up the rest of my day, by the look of things....ah well, nothing for it. ;)

I used to like meetings that took most of the day. Of course that was when I worked in a plant and didn't want to do anything.

David Fryer wrote:

I wonder if flagging posts makes other posts appear.

Silver Crusade

Agreed. I'm down with meetings that take most of the day. Then I actually have some interaction with living people, instead of staring at a computer screen and a stack of paperwork.
