I used to watch Dukes of Hazzard until they messed up and filmed Daisy in full-length jeans. Ruined the continuity.

Wait, that wasn't a soap opera?

Close enough. :)

Did you see the reunion show? They put her back in those cut offs.... they ought not to have done that. :/

Then in the A Team Mrs. Walliwitz was being forced out of her home by her landlord, who was seeking to redevelop the property, and Barracus had to...

That's not a soap opera either?

How 'bout what they did with the 6 Million Dollar Man? They turned that franchise into a soap.

But truely one of the best shows ever! I think I'm gonna watch the whole thing on Hulu when I'm done with Major Dad. :)

It really is. I forget which network it was that was running it, but I got to see all the episodes of it a couple years back. Mr T was awesome in that show. :)

Other than his job on Rocky2, it might have been the only good thing he ever did.

Probably not. My guess is that he is reading the orignal thread.
Not yet. I'll print it out and read it while I'm on the can.
Is even the Amazon big enough to handle that print load?
I've got plenty of paper and ink.

Good. Print it up in color so that the important posts stand out in green.

Don't do it, it's a trap!

To give you an idea where my mind is today, I saw a thread titled "Mounts+Riding for Dwarves" and wondered why something so naughty wasn't in the Off Topic section.

When I was little, I remember hearing my mom and grandmother talk about Dark Shadows and how it was the best soap opera ever and what a shame it was canceled. I saw it on Chiller the other day for the first time, and wish I could tell them, well, of course, it's just Ravenloft jumping back and forth b/n the 18th and 20th century.

I watched the movie on Elvira one time. It was pretty cool. And in their day it was like nothing they had ever seen. I think of it as akin to a friend of mine telling me that the book "I Robot" was too cliched. It was only cliched because everyone else copied "I Robot."

Anyone else think that "Blinded Me With Science" should be the Mythbusters theme song?

Sorry to hear that. :(

Two pages in less than two hours?!?!?

Emperor7, congrats on the almost-25 years of marriage. That's quite an achievement in this day and age. :)

Sorry to hear all your children are getting sick, David.

Sorry you're not feeling well Lynora. Drink lots of water. :)

And, hello CH and CB!

It would be fitting, yes... :)

Yuck. Sorry to hear that, David.

I'm used to it. No one ever feels like I am worth the effort of typing out my entire messageboard tag.

Doggonnit, Celestial Healer, you're good enough, and you're smart enough, and people like you!

I've given up on all the hellos and goodbyes. Not to be utter lacking in social graces, but because I can't keep up with the coming and going, what with my own drifting. So, hello everyone. Especially Celestial Healer.

Supposedly Tim Burton and Johnny Depp are bringing it back. A couple of my favorite weird fellas.

EDIT: Damn, just did a little reading. Apparently there was even a Lovecraft episode!

We should be more affirming of people's self-esteem!

Except for Kobold Cleaver. Whatever self-esteem he has is too much.

Morningish Folks! :D
How is everyone?

EDIT: Ok that was just awesome! I didn't even do that on purpose! :D

I agree. You know what would do wonders for your self esteem, dear? A new head.

My voice went away once. Finally tracked it down in Flagstaff. Always in the last place you look....
And when you found it it had run up thousands dialing some 900 number?
Worse, it had been working for a company that does those annoying, dinner-time phone sales.

I fussed at one from Direct TV, told her maybe I would be interested if they woud quit calling and interupting my dang dinners!

I've replaced phantom posting with going in to edit one of my posts on the page. If you edit a post, change nothing, and hit submit, your post is the same as it was, but it opens up the rest of the page.
