Why must every thread in the 4e forum always devolve into an argument about different editions? And why do I keep responding to them?

EDIT: Yeah, I know it's a troll. It's just, somewhere deep down, I still hope that they're simply misinformed, and the first post just seemed like an honest question that wouldn't lead to the thread going off the rails, never to return again.

Well, really the thread was just you and I posting character concepts :)
But yeah, he had no honest question. He just wanted to rant about how he can't make a pacifist basketweaver in 4e.

It's true. He has a real gift for it. :)I understand, hope you don't construe my comments as a jibe, just trying to make light of the situation. It's my specialty, ask Lynora. :)He's a good kid, just a bit immature for his age. And she's a great wife, just not used to being a mom and tired. Seems sometimes like she has two settings: all the way on and all the way off. For him, sometimes she needs to be in-between somewhere. And for me, she was just wanting me to completely take care of it without giving me adequate communication and reasonable expectation. So my ass stayed rooted and my volume raised and diction slowed, which pissed her off. But give me the appropriate info and cut the bum-wiping and din-din, and I jump to action and take care of things. Oh well.

That and eating a whole 5 gallon bucket of cole slaw are my only real talents. ;)

Yeah, it's the same one, then. I actually didn't mind it myself. I like Andrew Lloyd Webber's music - it's a little underrated.

My movie taste tend to be out of sync with most folks, there are a few popular flicks I've liked but the ones like Donnie Darko and The Matrix films I would rather have a root canal than have to watch again.
As for Never Been Kissed. I took the wife to see it when we were dating, she really liked it. She liked it so much we had to go see it 3 times..... the things a guy will do for love. :P
