Monster Man... er I mean Bestiary

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Liberty's Edge

I just downloaded the Bonus Bestiary, and now that's what I'm talking about. I have been playing 4e, but really it just doesn't do it for me from a DM point of view. pfRPG and the little look at the upcoming bestiary has my DM hate and malice just ready to be poured into a homebrew campaign. It would seem that the people at Paizo didn't just get hit with the "talent" stick, it would seem they have run naked through the "talent" forest.

Roll on tomorrow for pfRPG download, only one more sleep... (something my parents would say the night before Christmas)

And those are the monsters they didn't included in the main bestiary for one reason or another.

I'm looking forward to that and seeing the full changes in the monster creation/advancement/modification rules. To be sure just the basic elements of the PFRGP system (mainly skills) has made monster advancment considerably easier and easier to track. That way big complext multi-HD monsters like the Tarrasque will not go accidentally under skilled.

The Bestiary is just awesome! I love the icons showing terrian, cyles and types...Hey, if Reaper is doing the minis for Pathfinder, I wonder if they're planning a GOOD minis game...
