Household cat equals monk on speed!

So the pitbull dog walks by the cat lounging in the office chair. The cat leans out and whacks the snot out of the pitbull. Literally! Pitbull turns, surprised look on her face. About 20 punches to the face later the pitbull tries a bite attack, but is blinded by the flurry of blows landing on her face. Pitbull turns to run and cat gets attack of opportunity and shreds said pitbull's backside.

The whole combat lasted MAYBE six seconds and the cat probably landed 20-40 hits.

Household cat= monk on speed

Pitbull dog= fighter on acid ("whoa the colors!")

Owner= bard under the Hideous Laughter spell!

laughed so hard I almost wet myself! Or was that the Mountain Dew? I hope it was the Dew...

JUST AS I was writing that last part! lol OMG!

ANOTHER cat crouched behind sofa. Pitbull walking by. Loud hiss and blur of gray fur as second cat launches through air, paws flailing like a Jet Li movie on 16x fast forward. Blur of fur as cat runs and hides. Pitbull looking around like "WHAT THE FRAG JUST HAPPENED!?" Owner almost blows mountain Dew out nose!

Now I know what flat footed during the surprise round looks like!

LOL, yeah for cats - when in doubt, swipe at the nose. Believe me I've seen it happen - didn't get it on video and quite frankly was never as funny as what you're describing.

That is why I woud rather be a sorcerer with a cat familiar than a druid with a dog animal companion. Unless I can be a high enough level druid and get one of the big cats...

I swear it was the funniest thing I have seen in ages. Pitbulls have a FIERCE reputation, but ours (just abandoned at our driveway with a bag of dog food) is so darn sweet we named her Sweetie.

She seemed at a real loss what to do. Poor thing!

Pitbulls and Rotwielers, if raised right, can be some of the SWEETEST dogs out there. I am always so PISSED when I hear of them being mistreated.

Hmmm... monk's speed, flurry of paws, monks fall, at least some degree of evasion, combat manuevers. Yep, only the alignment restriction is 'chaotic' intsead of 'lawful.'

So maybe monk with a little ninja thrown it. (Sorry if you've already seen the video before.)

I'd love to put together a scene where a pack of gnolls attacks a small group of anthropomorphic cats (from Savage Species) who suddenly go 'full monk' on them. :)
