Gee. I wonder why that could be. It's almost as if someone made a huge announcement or something. ;-)
Thanks Vic - your time assessment is likely more accurate than mine. Any ideas as to what you expect to happen on the 13th when the PDF is released?

Well, the good news is that the PDFs are served from a different location using a different internet connection, so the actual act of downloading doesn't have that much of an impact on the rest of the site—at least, after people start the download.
I think we'll nevertheless most likely have to take down the messageboards for much of that day, though, as they're actually the biggest impact on performance, and we need to make sure people can check out with their PDF.
