Looking for ideas as how to adapt this magical crafting to PRPG. It is from Complete Arcane pg 161. With PRPG not using XP costs to do crafting, it ends up very cheap. As is it costs 1000gp plus 500 x target undead's wisdom score xp.
A basic skeleton with a wisdom score of 10 can cast 2 1st level spells 4 times a day. That seems worth a more than 1000gp, I thought about converting the 5000xp directly to gp making it 6k to stitch them but that may be a bit high.

The normal method of converting xp to gp (before and with Pathfinder) is 5 * xp cost = gp cost.
You seem to feel this would be very high (26k total for your skeleton example). I haven't read up on spell-stitching. It's 500xscore, not 500xmodifier right? Sounds expensive to begin with for what you say it does (a Wish worth of xp at a minimum?)
