I have at least a couple of thousands of dollars worth of 3.x material, and I'm not alone among my peers. Is anyone out there planning to run their Pathfinder RPG games using only the Core book and OOP 3.x (i.e., 3.x Monster Manual, the Complete Series, Pathfinder APs through Legacy of Fire, Unearthed Arcana, etc.)?

Yes. We've run quite a few games with the beta PFRPG rules. It works well, but some things need to be tweaked.
Cantrips and the like become unlimited at wills, d4 HD become d6, some races no longer have LAs and some have fewer (This one is done by eye, it's hard sometimes) for instance quite a few of the XPH races become LA-less, among other minor tweaks that are obvious and come naturally.
However, I love doing this sort of stuff: I'm a developer, after all.
I'm having trouble converting Psionics, but for the most part it seems to be pretty well balanced with how Wizards' intended.

I too have a load of 3.5 stuff, the Eberron books and the Complete series, but I plan to use D&D3.5 to run those because I am more comfortable with and like the system and can't be bothered to so even on the fly conversion.
PFRPG will be used to play in my other GMs games who are likely to be using 3.5 Adventures (Rise of the Runelords and Forgotten Realms).

We currently run beta but when the core comes out, we'll of course be switching to that.
As it stands now, we pretty much use any 3.x book we have with Pathfinder Beta but tweak where needed (d4 hp classes to d6, d6 to d8, no save or die spells allowed right now from complete spell compendium until we solidify how to do it.)
Among the books used are;
Complete Warrior
Complete Adventurer
Complete Divine
Spell Compendium (good bard spells and druid spells)
Oriental Adventures (back from 3.0 but the book is one of our favorites).
Fiend Folio (my namesake character uses the Feytouched entry)
Masters of the Wild (for deepwood sniper)
and Sword and Fist (for Ghostwalker)
We have other books but they really haven't come up for use so eh, no worries.

I also have quite an extensive library, both WotC and 3PP.
However, with the current campaign under the BETA rules (converting to final some time in October), I have weaned my players from the 3.0/3.5 glut of feats, classes, PrCs, etc. and no one seems to be missing it, therefore I am going to essentially run a "core only" game and see what happens.
I should point out, that of the six players, usually only one likes all the extra stuff. Most of them play single class characters and use core rules only.

We also have quite a bit invested in 3.x material (Both 3.0 and 3.5). After playing with the beta for close to a year we've realized it's pretty easy to convert things from 3.5 to PFRPG, which means that it won't be that difficult to backwards convert, even on the fly. One thing, as other people have mentioned, we've also noticed that as we use the PFRPG material, less and less 3pp and 3.x material is used (Possibly a feat or two or a prestige class now and then) and more is being used straight from the PFRPG book.

Interesting. Though backward-compatibility with 3.x is one of the main features of the PfRPG, it matters less and less in the long-run as folks transition to the new game.
