Hey everyone,
I know I haven't posted here much since I started my Traveller 3PP company, but that'll be changing in the near future. I'll be back to hang with everyone and discuss Paizo's page-licking goodness and to hang in the off topic areas. In the meantime, I posted a blog post for your reading enjoyment.

LOL, I know. I was being deliberately obtuse.
I happen like that movie, but don't tell Mrs. Tarrasque. See, she really loves that movie. A lot. And I, being the awful mean tarrasque that I am, like to torment her, so when the subject comes up I refer to the movie as "Wet Dreams May Come" which really really makes her roar...

I saw mention of getting the young'uns into roleplaying and thought I'd mention something I picked up at our last local meet-up. The session actually focused on RPGs with kids and one of our regulars brought a copy of Faery's Tale from Firefly Games. It's a neat little game, simple mechanics, and a pretty compelling setting that most younger kids can connect with easily. My 5-year old is already interested in being either a sprite or a pooka...

I own that game and I must say I love it alot. I'd probably give it a go with my sister's kids (soon to be 4 year olds). They're more into the kinds of adventures that
I'm currently reading my daughter the neverending story. she wants to be a hero (well, ok, she wants to be an explorer like Dora the Explorer, but I try to present better options and they are having an impact, and I can use it as kind of a way to grab her attention). she's IMO already beyond what I feel the kinds of tales I'd do well with faery's tale. heck when she was 3, she ran around the local community castle shaped playground (nice and large, I might add, shame they tore it down) and chase pretend monsters and attack them with her pretend sword. I was never more proud of her (up to that point atleast) was the first time she did that. I made sure to videotape future times she did that.
but anyways back from the bunny trail. Her math skills are above the simple system in FT so I want to introduce her to something that can give her a bit of a challenge while playing.
