Well, nobody comes out of this strip looking good. (Roy has learned nothing during this time about listening to people, nor a shred of concern for Belker.)

But, yes, Roy's father has certainly lost any sympathy we might have had for him.

And, you would have thought that angels, particularly angels with messages like "Your comrade just committed familiacide on a significant chunk of a race, for no reason other than spite," would have higher Charisma scores.

Here's what I wonder - who is S. Rogers (the name on the other sign held up by the angels who appear to guide people back to life)? Is that a joke or reference I'm not getting or is it foreshadowing of some type?

I believe it's referring to all the rumours flying around that Captain America aka Steve Rogers is going to be returning from the dead soon.

It wouldn't matter. Skills like Diplomacy and Intimidate don't work on PCs anyway.

I've never been particularly fond of Roy's dad anyway. It seems like he got into heaven on a technicality; most of his behavior leans more toward a neutral alignment than good. Sure, the effort to stop a lich from destroying the world is a good cause, but he seemed involved for purely selfish reasons.

Either way, I'm happy that the group are back together once more (albeit changed).

Unfounded rumour: It looks OOTS will be going back to the old skool with some good ol' fashion dungeon crawling for the Xy's phylactery.
