Paizo Employee Director of Narrative

My boss bought me the new 16g 3G S yesterday and it's my first iPhone. (He picked up my phone bill too!) Does anyone have some fun tips, tricks or apps they can suggest? I've been playing around with it, but as always, when good advise is needed, the community is the best place to go.

Get the Remote app. It's free, and official from apple. You can use it to control your iTunes library on your computer from WiFi.

'Now Playing' is a nifty little tool for getting movie times.

Google Earth is fun and also free.

Cool, I'll check those out. Know a good PDF viewer?

That remote kicks ass!

That phone is for work only! And as your boss is picking up the bill be prepared to have all your conversations logged, messages accessed, callers and calls identified, location tracked, and privacy invaded.

Do not play games on it. Maybe write your own ringtone and do your own wallpaper to look creatively intelligent...but that is all.

Basically the iphone is a cheap BLACKBERRY with video capabilities...read the damn manual. Be very familiar with it.

Thanks for the warning, but I don't see that happening. We are a small 6 person company and we all have better things to do than check up on each other.

So was my mums Work - because the house she lived in was part of the pay package creepy boss though that meant putting concealed surveilance cameras in, breaking in and going through personal documents while she was off at work, and having her watched...all the while he was bankrupting the company, and shipping contract funds paid by the mine company who was subcontracting him and scuttling off to Asia to build a hotel.

Really awesome.

Thanks you two.

I grabbed the dice app because I'm a nerd. I couldn't find the Grimoire one.

MachDice is great. I just typed "grimoire" into the iTunes store search, and it's the first application that popped up, so I'm not sure what's going on there. It's put out by RPGTouch and has a tribal looking dragon design (B&W).

Edit: I assume you already downloaded the Pathfinder wallpapers for iTunes. Nothing puts you in the mood for Legacy of Fire like the right wallpaper...

Paizo Employee Director of Narrative

Okay, I found it. I think I'm gonna skip the app. I've already got an SRD site bookmarked. Thanks, however, on the reminder about Pathfinder wallpapers. I completely didn't pay attention when that was released.

Yeah, the grimoire is only useful if you sometimes find yrself gaming away from your laptop and are playing a wizard. Then it's right there (along with yr dice app). You're welcome, Daigle. That will be my wallpaper everyday until the new AP rolls out. Not that I need any help being obsessive, but there ya go.

Check out the app named PFR (--> PathFinder Reference). It contains the actual reference document for Pathfinder, including races, classes, skills, feats, equipment, conditions, spells, magic items and even the monsters.

The d20 Rules app (for 3.5e) is available now http://itunes.apple.com/no/app/d20-rules/id368796548?mt=8. It's built on the same framework as the PFR app!
