Xarra, and anyone else who wishes to can jump to Kamino.

Jump.

If this game is going to continue, we're going to need some narrative drive here. We've already lost one player. We started out with a good deal of momentum and we're out of it now. Let's see a kick start here.

5 days and no post. Are we officially kicking a dead PbP?

Female Human Replica Droid Scout 2 Soldier 3

As much as I hate to say it, I' alittle gone on this one... really sorry to see it go."

Female Kobold

Let's not rush the DM. It's hard getting a game back on track.

This game started great, same, if you could possibly step up your posting to daily I think we could revive it, I know that in the games I run, if I miss 2 days, I have a chance of losing people.

things have not been as smooth as I had thought they would be coming back to the states. I think I am good now though.

Alright, lets try this again.....

The monitors of your starships and starfighters hiccup for a split second from the static buzz of leaving hyperspace, a familiar odor of ozone greets you emanating from your hyperdrive.
Immediately, your navigational displays and holo communications sparks to life in a dizzying array of data and transmissions.
The Kamino Star System Control Center has multiple beacons that you are all picking up.
Welcome to the Kamino Star System and Respective Territories therein, you are to proceed to Starship Platforms One Alpha, Three Beta, or 12Zulu if you are registered offplanet, and are not an official government envoy.
Diplomatic and Military traffic are to use SP 4Fox and 7Victor. Registered Kamino traffic may use all non-restricted starship platforms as per Kamino Planetary Protocol 2-4d.
Please be advised that powerful storms can, and often do, occur planetside, please take this into consideration.
Please be further advised that any attempts to pirate or otherwise improperly obtain or procure Cloning technology, hardware, or products in any stage, will result in unrestrained violence being administrated until your complete and total demise is achieved.
Please be even further advised that any failure to completely comply with Kamino Planetary and Star System Protocol and Law will be dealt with swiftly and justly, most likely resulting in your complete and total demise.
Lastly, be advised that offplanet pirating is on the rise again, and that as a result you may keep weapons and shields at full until entering Kamino Planetary Atmosphere levels three through five.
Once again, Welcome to the Kamino Star System and Respective Territories therein.

this transmission is on repeat and loops again and again...

Your navigation displays indicate exactly where on Kamino these Starship Platforms are. It also syncs with the Kamino system transmitters and gives you up to date weather information, as well as high pirate activity lanes to watch for.

Male Jawa Jedi 4

Yikku turns nervously to Jerrn and murmers something in Jawan.

Jernn reaches over and flips his shields and weapons to hot status. "Jeez, sure seems like the natives are a little defensive, don't it?"

"Perhaps they have had trouble with the Sith invasion and are struggling to remain neutral." I2 says.

"X4, prime all blaster cannons, expand the DRADIS to scan for pirate vessels, shields to full. Clear for landing."

Silver Crusade

dude human. Cavalier (Ronin)

Xarra, your display indicates no suspicious activity that might be described as usually pirate.
There is however a "haze" on everyone's heads up displays that is odd for a planet that seems to care about order and lawful activity. This haze is not a literal visual defection of the picture but indicators are not adding up. Gravity pull, electronic signature strength from populated areas, etc. are off. Something is definitely not in place here.

Your weather transmission channels indicate onealpha and twelvezulu are having better weather than threebeta, which is currently having a category six atmospheric storm. The system statistical data available to you show onealpha as being heavily populated and twelvezulu as being rather sparsely populated considering the electronic signature strength from the area.

Silver Crusade

dude human. Cavalier (Ronin)

I am giving you all the choice of mass population or mysterious and small.
Post which one you go too. Any questions, just let me know.

Male Jawa Jedi 4

I'm afraid I'm going to have to drop this. Between school, my other PbPs, and the OTD RPG, I just don't have enough time to devote to a PbP that has rather unreliable posting.
Try not to kill my character, as I may come back if the action picks up.
Goodbye, and may the force be with you.

strange, it's picking up now...

Sovereign Court RPG Superstar 2010 Top 16, 2011 Top 32

Alright, head check. We lost two, possibly three players out of five. What's our status?

Silver Crusade

dude human. Cavalier (Ronin)

It looks right now like winter and kobold are gone, or are least for kobold- gone for now. They are both welcome back at any time.

I am not sure about flash. Flash is of course always welcome too.

That right now leaves Xannon with Xarra and James with Jern, with Flash possibly still hanging in there.

I am more than willing to keep the game going with one or two. All others are welcome back at anytime.

I do however, have a question for you two on the pace. Do you feel that the options are slowing things down. For instance, waiting to see who wanted to go to Kamino, and giving two starports at kamino. In my experience, my friends and I like those kind of options and details.
If you two do not, and want the game to skip forward to action, just let me know. I will adjust fire to your target parameters.

For PbPs I have noticed that major railroading is sometimes the best track, taking control of certain rolls, and heavy narration are what keep a game moving.

I'm good to continue, but I agree. Sandboxes work well in face to face games when you have the benefit of instant response. PbPs seem to work better with a healthy dose of railroading.

Silver Crusade

dude human. Cavalier (Ronin)

Hey, I am completely cool with either. So all aboard!!

Jerrn calls across the comm. "I'm heading for Twelve Zulu. Ah reckon less populated is better for folks in our sit'ation."

Roger that Darklighter, I'm on your six.

Silver Crusade

dude human. Cavalier (Ronin)

Jern and Xarra land in the 12Zulu starport without incident, a small group of starships and starfighters occupy the landing areas. Almost all of them are clearly more than they are made to appear, at least to the experienced eyes of the the two new arrivals.
A small group of security and maintenance teams mill about, none of them are interested in you two or your transportation.
A few signs off to the side advertise employment while others offer service and shelter.
Walking toward what seems to be the main entrace is a familiar looking Devorian....

Jerrn sets the security codes on his starship, jumps out and nods toward the Devaronian. He sets off after him at a walking pace, looking determined but not paranoid.

Xarra tells X4: "Lock it down X4, contact me if anyone messes with my baby"

She then heads over to Jerrn "Where'd the others go? Think they landed at the other platform?"

"Ah dunno. I didn't see 'em after we left hyperspace. Maybe they headed for the other port, maybe they decided that discretion is the better part of getting off-world?"

Silver Crusade

dude human. Cavalier (Ronin)

The devorian nods to both you and with a small smile in the corner of his mouth says: Your not following me are you?
As he finishes that, an icy blue light lances through his chest.
initiative

Initiative: 1d20+7=23

I=1d20+12=13

Xarra: "Oh Bother"

Silver Crusade

dude human. Cavalier (Ronin)

The devorian collapses to the ground clutching his chest. The nearby kaminoans scream or yell while proceeding to evacuate the area.
Coming out a hanger off to the side are three creatures that look like raptors, each holds a carbine blaster and is shouldering an impressive array of gear and arms.
They are moving in a direct approach to the downed devorian. The two on the flank are sweeping the area with their weapons looking for trouble....

Jern: you are up
Xarra:believe it or not, you are right after Jern

Silver Crusade

dude human. Cavalier (Ronin)

Xarra, you can go if you want

[ooc] Sorry, grant deadlines at work. [ooc]

Jerrn uses Surge (UtF: 1d20+15=30) to race forward, igniting his lightsaber as he goes, taking up a defensive position over the Devaronian, ready to deflect any further bolts.

Silver Crusade

dude human. Cavalier (Ronin)

The brave Jedi from the planet of tatooine stands over the wounded Devorian. The strength of the force can literally be felt and seen by all.
The devorian squints in pain while the eyes of the attackers go wide in astonishment and fear.

Xarra, you are up.

JM: hope everything is cool.
Xarra: fire when ready.

"DAMMIT!" Xaara shouts as she draws her heavy sonic pistol and moves at an 45 degree angle (to get clear LoS past Jern) and attempts to force disarm the opponent (+13 use the force) IC is down, go ahead and roll for me.

Silver Crusade

dude human. Cavalier (Ronin)

Sorry for the delay

Xarra reacts swiftly, employing the force to rip the carbine blaster from one of the attackers hands, Xarra effectively disarms the closest operative closing in.

The two operatives that remain armed unleash a burst of deadly fire at the two heroes.

Jern deflects two blasts that would have struck him or the devorian.
The lightsaber blurring through the air, slams the blasts aside. The Devorian stirs at the feet of his protector, trying to pull a blaster free from his pocket.
Xarra feels the heat of three blaster bolts as they fly right by, the sound of the near misses are loud and clear.
The operative who was disarmed, grabs his sidearm and brings it to bear.

Taking one hand off the lightsaber, Jerrn makes a motion toward one of the men firing at him and the Devaronian.

Use the Force to Move Object (person): 1d20+15=22

Otherwise, resume guard position.

Silver Crusade

dude human. Cavalier (Ronin)

Jern: Your move object succeeds. I am confused though on what you are doing with it. I was pretty sure you intended to fling the attacker, bit I am not sure what you are doing with the devorian. Either way you suceed, good rolls.

"Drop the weapons..." as she takes a bead on the one drawing his weapon.

prepare to negate energy if needed.

Silver Crusade

dude human. Cavalier (Ronin)

Jern tosses an attacker into a nearby starship that Is docked off to the side.

Xarra demands that the attackers put down their weapons.

The attackers resume their assault, one with a carbine blaster, one with a hand blaster.
The assault is deflected by Jern. The attacker with the hand blaster misses Xarra completely.

Jerrn, still standing over the prone Devaronian, pulls forth a stun grenade, thumbs the safety off and tosses it at the attackers. Attack roll: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

"It's your funeral..." Xarra says with a smirk...

Fire a shot with my heavy sonic pistol 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12

For some reason I didn't put my combat info on my sheet, so if you could roll dmg for me plz
