I am a LONG TIME gamer (read old gamer) and have used Tiamat in many campaigns as the BBEG (Big Bad Evil Gal) many times. I just received the Gods & Magic book (excellent source), but was surprised and dismayed that she didn't make the cut. Is there a reason why she was dropped? Is she listed somewhere else as a Kobold or Dragon goddess? If so, I'm surprised since this source did an excellent job of pulling in many other non -player race deities.
Can anyone provide some information?
Perhaps this was an oversight and there is an errata out there? (Hoping this is the case!)

Tiamat is mentioned in the Draconic Gods bit (p52), and in Dragons revisited. She's just not a primary god, presumably due to limited worship.

The "5-headed-chromatic-dragon-goddess-living-in-Hell" version of Tiamat is WotC IP. Of course the name itself, coming from mythology, isn't - but the Paizo Tiamat must be different enough from the WotC one not to provoke LoO (Lawsuits of Opportunity).
Same thing with Bahamut, hence the main draconic deities in Golarion are Apsu and Dahak.

Re-read the section on Apsu in Gods and Magic. Tiamat does exist in the Golarion multiverse, she just hasn't really cast her eyes upon Golarion yet (due in no small part to the WotC IP issues, as Gorbacz said). Might make for an interesting campaign idea if Tiamat and her agents did begin to arrive on Golarion, perhaps looking to finally annihilate Apsu once and for all.

Though Tiamat is part of ancient dragon history, she's not really one of Golarion's draconic gods.
The place where Apsu and Tiamat resided since before they had names is far away from Golarion, and Apsu fled from there to Golarion to get away from his former Mate. Tiamat didn't follow, though Dahak did.
She's even more hated and feared by dragons than Dahak, who is worshipped by only a few dragons.

Tiamat could always possess the coloration of all the dragons in the form of a pearly irridescence, and have all the horn-types, and have the attacks of opportunity equivalent, and all the breath weapon attacks.
Bahamut could simply be referred to as "a Platinum dragon." "Gold dragon" doesn't cause problems.
