The End.
Come on O-Chul!
Against an undead lich? Lay on Hands+Smite is much better when you haven't got a weapon handy.

I noticed that many of the characters are using "she" when referring to V, lately. Does that indicate something definitive or will we see them revert to something else later?
I think Rich once said that he will keep it ambiguous for ever.
In my opinion V. made a turn back to the light side of the force in this strip, I hope this does not mean that h/she will die next time

I can't read too much into V feeding the pally the healing potions, it makes perfect sense for anyone to revive another opponent of the thing trying to kill you. You're probably right, but it doesn't necessarily mean V has seen the light, so to speak...

Don't forget, however, that V could have and almost was safely escaped. He chose to return to help O-Chul despite his own best interests (yes, his, I still think V is a man). I think this will go a long way to repairing the moral damage V did to himself while under the effects of the soul-splice. Really, it's a necessary move for the strip so that V doesn't have to be evil for a long time to come, or waste an inordinate amount of time seeking redemption (though there may still be some of that ahead). Rich worked it in very organically, though. Kudos to OotS again!

Nope. Squeaking closed door, remember ?
V was likely hoping to escape through the door while Xykon was distracted by O-chul's renewed attacks. V didn't plan on the lich hearing hir and stangling hir out of invisibility.

If you look back at the strip, you'll see that inviso-V ran away from the door and was crawling out the hole in the wall (non-squeaking) and was mostly out when he/she/it decided to climb back in and help O-Chul.
