PFRPG Preorder Shipping Costs

Hello

I was looking into pre-ordering the PFRPG with all the discounts and noted that I did not have a choice with shipping costs.Is the $45 (Shipping to Australia) correct or is this a problem with the cart page?

That shipping cost is correct. You can get two RPG books for 45 US shipping.

I will point out to you that Milsims will have the same book for sale for 85AUD and a flat 5.50AUD postage in Australia for an unlimited amount of items you but.

Long story short, the cheaper option for one book.

I have calculated that 4 books is the break point for shipping to Australia, with a total shipping cost at USD57 per book. If you are near Sydney I could add you to my order.

I am still tossing up whether to subsribe to PFRPG.

I am also wanting an addition 4 books for my players up here. I am siding to with Milsims. (4x84)+5.5 AUD is still a good price.

There doesn't seem to be a pdf cost on-line as a separate item yet, but we know that a PDF will be a benefit of subscription....

I'm in the UK, and have the same situation with cost, but if a subscription is the only way to get a PDF, that will swing it for me....

That is what I am considering.

My players just want the book so.. subscribe for me which will cost a fair bit more and I get the pdf and hopefully combine shipping on my other subscriptions.

I will also be subscribing (as soon as that button goes up). Vic has mentioned in other threads that if you have ordered multiple copies of the book and then subscribe, one of the copies will be considered as your subscription copy.

Assuming a 0.75 exchange rate (not too unreasonable at this stage, but who the hell knows, if we are lucky it will be higher than that), an order of four books will end up costing $A76 each, then order the fifth book off Mil Sims. Then you are subsidising the postage on your subscription copy :), and hopefully getting the books a bit earlier.

Sadly, since the US Postal Service stopped offering surface mail a couple of years ago, there is no inexpensive way to ship anything that weighs over 4 pounds internationally, and the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook weighs about 4.25 pounds *without* the box.

For *most* countries outside of North America, one book by itself will have a S&H fee of $40.88, two copies will be $45.05, three will be $57.65, four will *also* be $57.65, and five will be $94.68.
