I just started looking through the Pathfinder OGC. It's been a little while since I've played PF and I don't recall seeing Traits in the Beta version. I like 'em. Just for clarification-- the default amount characters begin with is 2 in addition to any Feats he/she might normally start with?
Are we talking about traits like in UA, or was this something in Alpha?

The traits system from the adventure paths (which is what your link is to) are not part of the Pathfinder RPG main rules, alpha, beta, or the final version. It has been mentioned that they're likely to be in a potential future book on optional rules.
They're similar in concept, but different mechanically from the traits in Unearthed Arcana (UA).

Sorry, I don't know what UA means-- here's the link to the OGC.

I think this was recently posted.
Sorry UA refers to Unearthed Arcana.

Traits look cool, but I don't recall seeing them in the Beta PDF.

Traits, being a rules expansion and not part of the core rules, are not part of the PF RPG. They are VERY likely to be in a rules expansion book soon, though, and until then (and after that) the PDF for them will remain online at paizo.com. We'll be doing a PF RPG update to the traits that'll go live around the time the game releases at Gen Con as well, although this MIGHT be delayed a few weeks depending on how hard Gen Con hits us...

understandable
Traits first appeared in the player's guide to Curse of the Crimson Trone (sort of background to help the players come into the adventure), and later with more detail in the Pathfinder Companion: PLayer's Guide to Second Darkness, its is where the list you are seeing in that PDF really coems from.

Thanks for all the responses-- so Traits are OGC, but optional... I was planning on referencing the PFOGC for an alternate campaign setting I'm working on (ideally to be shared under the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Compatibility License). I just want to make sure it's okay if I use them.
i believe so, just the descriptions might change, but mechanics I believe its ok
