It's like the Energizer Bunny!

Scarab Sages

Mmmm....brainnnsss

Scarab Sages

My brother is manager of a bank in Houston. They got robbed yesterday.

Scarab Sages

Dude got away with a whopping $1700. They've got both the robber and his accomplice on video, along with their very distinctive van.

Scarab Sages

Apparently, they went through the drive-thru when they were casing the bank.

Scarab Sages

Anyway, I'm guessing they'll be caught soon.

Scarab Sages

You never know though.

Scarab Sages

My wife is leaving tomorrow for a week in California.

Scarab Sages

Mostly business, but she is going to take some time to visit with her dad's family.

Scarab Sages

So, I'll be a bachelor for a week. I'm thinking I'll take some time either Saturday or Sunday to brew.

Scarab Sages

The recipe I was looking at is Young's Oatmeal Stout. Maybe. I'm not sure. I'll go through my books tonight and see if there's anything else I'd prefer to brew.

Scarab Sages

Mmmmm....beer.

Scarab Sages

I might also take some time while she's gone to see District 9. I'm pretty sure she'd thank me for not dragging her ot see it. She's not a big Sci-fi person.

Scarab Sages

I'm not sure what's wrong with her.

Scarab Sages

Everyone should love sci-fi, mostly because it's cool, but also because I like it. That should be good enough for everyone.

Scarab Sages

Mmmm....bacon.

Scarab Sages

Did you ever get the feeling you were being watched? That the eyes of strange things were upon you?

Scarab Sages

I'm rambling.

It's ok, it happens to the best of us, I should know, I am the best of us. ;)

Have fun, Aberzombie, whatever form of entertainment that means. :)

Glad to hear they're going to catch the bank robbers. I think the depressed (recessed?) economy is going to cause more of these types of stories. I'm also glad (I'm inferring) no one got hurt during the robbery.

Dang!, I really was hoping that I coulda got 7500, oh, well. So do we get a prize from Paizo for this? huh? huh? do we? :D
Oh, yeah. I shoulda let you be the one to push the plunger. I got carried away. <embarrassed blushing>
Eh, don't worry about it, you pulled such a blitz you earned the right to be the 7500th poster. You get a pony, Sebastian will be there soon.

At 10000, I'll make sure you're the one who gets the honors, even if I have to flag posts. :)

I'll be brewing some homebrew beer. At least, that's what I'm planning.

Yeah, thankfully no one was hurt. Interestingly enough, this is the second bank branch my brother's worked at that has been robbed. The first one he worked at in Houston was robbed on one of his days off. That time they got away with several thousand dollars. I can't remember if they ever got caught.

All this time, all this spite--and we're still short by 400 pages?!? We are slacking.

And to paraphrase: Mmmm...flaming bacon!

Meh, and here I was reading the blogs, waiting for the messageboards to come back up, and I just got so into them...

Can I get a little love for Mystara?

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

Welcome back, everybody! Only 2452 posts to 10000.

Silver Crusade

The original goal was 25,000 posts (500 pages), so we still have a way to go.

Heathy's Saltmarsh? Thread hit over 10,000. It caused gary to have to do something to try and make the Message Boards more stable I think.

One milestone at a time...

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

My post got eaten, apparently. (first sign of trouble?)

Anyway, I think we need to take it one milestone at a time. First 10,000, then 25,000, then the WORLD!!!

Dark Archive

Preach on, Brother Weasel, preach on.

Wow, I didn't think I'd ever get back to this thread. We can do 500 pages, heck I'd bet we could 5000 pages if we set or collective minds to the task. So next milestone, as taig said, is 10000, from there we pond out another 15000 post until they recognize our thread supremecy!

You guys may not believe this but I had a job today on Pathfinder Way, in the driveway was a Nissan Pathfinder, and their last name was Wayfinder... it's a sign I tell you! A sign! ;P
