This is for you:

Spoiler:

Paizo Employee Director of Narrative

I thought this was going to be about my post that was deleted earlier today... :-(

I never saw it coming.

Dark Archive

You know.. I don't quite know how you managed to do that.. and whether i should be furious, or applaud you sir..

Dammit!

Liberty's Edge

If only there were a way to make kruelaid's avatar into a koolaid man with angry eyebrows and hastily drawn sharp teeth with blood or koolaid dripping off of them.

"OH YEAH!!!"

Liberty's Edge

yeah, I don't think I'll click on a link that says it's going to take me to yougotrickrolled.com ...

Is that what you did to Heath before Kruel?

Liberty's Edge

It was more disguised. It was in a spoiler, and it said "this is Stiggy's move." So, at 7:45 a.m., with my mind addled and semilucid, I trustingly hit the link and BAM!!!!

Now that is tricky. I'm starting to get paranoid now...

I gotta run an errand.....golly it's late. Good thing Walmart's open 24 hours. For me anyhow's.

Yah it's a sneaky one. Spoiler is embedded in a link. And even better it opens two rickroll tabs on one click - on firefox anyway.

And for the record, Gary DOES do a great job.

LOL

Disenchanter wrote:

Speaking of which, I wonder why my post was deleted and several others in that thread have made posts just as pointed, and topically nearly identical to mine?

Note: Gary, I'm not trying to take you to task for it. If you wandered into the thread and made a judgement call, so be it. But if your attention was drawn to that thread by some one flagging my post, and they didn't flag the posts following mine, I'd suggest questioning the motives of the flagger. That is all I'm trying to say.

Paizo Employee Senior Software Developer

Disenchanter, that was me and me alone. Threads like that can go off the rails very, very quickly, and I wanted to emphasize right from the start what our position is.

Thanks for understanding!

Out of curiosity, what did you put in the spoiler?

No. He said, "protean". Actually, I think green, gray, and death slaad's are pretty protean with that change shape ability and all.

EDIT: Oh, yeah. And Gary is great!

Hi Gary,

My name is Brian Leichty and I have been trying to post a character that I made for the Hopeless Legends are made, not Born Play by Post game and I have been having some problems. I don't know what the problem is but when I go to save my character data in the spaces provided I try to click on the Save Changes button or the Preview button and they don't respond. I have tried to post my character several times with the same result. Do you know what I can try to fix this problem?

I get a message that asks if I want to view material that could comprimise the security of the website and I click on NO when it comes up, or at least I try to, because it won't let me get past it unless I click on YES. What should I do if I encounter this again?

I get it. I was running along with the gag. It's not funny if I have to explain it!

sheesh

:D

Brian, can you start a thread and post your question. Gary may not see it down here.

If you DO see this Gary... the WD thread - you're awesome.

He may not see it if I post it somewhere else, either.

That sounds like some sort of browser plugin giving you a warning -- our website doesn't do that. Perhaps try a different browser?

Gary sees all.

Scarab Sages

By the way Gary, thanks for the response to my email. I appreciate it.

Without knowing your situation, I suggest the following:

Still way to buggy, and the lack of some common browser options drives me crazy!!! *No drop down adress bar, lack of being able to adjust bookmarks.
