Hello fellow Paizoians (Paizoites?) and Pathfinders.
My group finally finished "Crucible of Chaos" from the modules line (it is in my opinion one of the best GameMastery Modules) and I opted not to use the "Return of the Eaten" because my players aren't the type to go for that. They want the City for themselves, and they realize (I think) the enormous undertaking it'll be, but that's the route they're going. I have a few ideas in mind for further adventures in the Mwangi Expanse, finding the 2 or 3 artifacts/items required to get the Flying City flying again, I even got "Throne of the Gorilla King" to flesh out into a bigger adventure and tie it in, either having members of the derhii (the winged apes from CoC) captured by Ruthazek; the Silverback King to be converted into new spawn of Anghazan, or at the least have one of the items (like the magical sails and rudder) being part of the Gorilla King's treasure hoard. One of the player's characters mentioned (in game) the Ruins of Kho (also one of the ancient Shory flying cities) and perhaps "cannibalizing" parts from Kho to use to get Ulduvai (the Lost City from CoC) working again. But one thing I've noticed on these messageboards, is the wealth of ideas the community comes up with, helps each other with, springboards ideas... etc. So, I'm tapping this resource, to see if any of you have ideas, if you've run "Crucible of Chaos" and what you've done for "After the Adventure" stuff. By the way... I really like the Proteans from "Legacy of Fire; the End of Eternity" and "The Great Beyond" and I'm thinking of using them somehow with the ruins of Kho. Although I'm not sure how yet. I thought of it because chaos or chaotic beigns seem to muck up the works of the Shory Flying Cities, and the proteans are nothing if not chaotic beings.
