I suggest excluding posts in the PLAY-BY-POST and PLAY-BY-POST Discussion forums from the display of recent messageboard posts. The vast majority of visitors to the site aren't going to be playing in any given game, and so, at least for the most part, aren't interested in related threads. Worse, the PBP posts end up pushing other posts, likely of more general interest, off the first page.

Just collapse that part of the board and you won't see them. That's what I did when it bothered me (but then it stopped bothering me, so I un-collapsed them again :-).

Just as a note, that only works if you log in first.
If you are taking a moment to visit the site and see "what's new," - without logging in first - you still get to see the "superfluous" threads on the front page.
